□ Anonymous 11/11/14(Tue)19:06:38 No.23563860 File: rangers-vietnam.jpg (86 KB, 480x491) 2 A story I was told by my exes dad who was LRP during Vietnam >be exes dad >be inna Nam >back at base after a patrol >chillin next to radio drinkin muh beer istenin to muh bros >patrol going out does comm check and gets on the huey >an hour or so later they touch down >get lit up by NVA who were laying in wait bradio guy gets hit and killed instantly coming off the bird ands on the mic key >every squad can hear these guys getting lit the f--- up >squad leader is shouting to the radio guy for air support >doesn't realize he's dead >squad lead finally gets on the radio and calls in air support >cobra guys race out to their birds and get ready, one of the officers is about to call in a broken arrow >Calvary unit at a nearby base starts loading up M113s in order to save these guys >company commander tells everyone to stand down, it's too late at night sthis was the guy who ordered the squad to go in late so that they "could surprise the enemy" >another guy from the squad dies, leader gets shot repeatedly >eventually falls back and gets picked up the next day sa week later the officers woke up to find their huts surrounded by claymores no more night ops after that I miss getting drunk and sharing stories with that crazy Ranger.

Serious answer: the whole appeal is self-inserting as the shota and being treated as a desirable object of affection by attractive women. Childhood is the last time women unconditionally love you, dote on you and allow you to be weak. After that you might as well be dead to them and you're expected to "earn" their attention. Basically you're there to impress her, but women don't feel the need to impress you. Projecting back to childhood but with awareness of your own (and their) sexuality makes for an appealing fantasy.
