61 KB PNG > Be me, working as a nurse at a hospital > Night shift is always the craziest > Patients with all sorts of mental illnesses come in > One night, a patient with severe schizophrenia is admitted > He keeps screaming about demons and trying to escape > We have to restrain him to keep him from hurting himself or others > he s---- himself and bites his own skin to be escape the demons >wackyshit.exe > Another patient with dissociative identity disorder keeps switching between personalities > One minute he is a scared child, the next he is a violent criminal > It's like dealing with multiple patients in one body > And then theres the patient with severe OCD > He spends hours cleaning and organizing his room, and gets extremely agitated if anything is out of place > Its a constant battle to keep him calm and prevent him from hurting himself > The night is long and exhausting, but we manage to keep all the patients safe > As I leave the hospital in the morning, I cant help but feel grateful for my own mental health > And a newfound respect for those who struggle with mental illness such as the average 4chan users
