Isn't that more of a fact than opinion?
…Not that I'm biased or anything.

I think he's calling it "unpopular" simply on the basis that Mario Kart has always been a higher seller, and thus "more popular" among the mainstream (it's one series that both casual and and regular gamers enjoy playing). Mario Kart always gets one entry per console (Nintendo themselves said this, saying they feel a single entry per console is enough for this type of game rather than going the annualized route you see with other sports titles), but F-Zero's been on hiatus since GX on the Gamecube. Miyamoto said it's because he's having problems coming up with something new and exciting for the series, saying he'd rather not just make "the same game [GX] with prettier graphics."
Mario Kart is more versatile for making something new for each entry, like MK64 brought in proper 3D and 4 player multiplayer, Super Circuit was the first portable game, Double Dash had the "two racers share a kart" aspect, MKDS was the first to be online, MK Wii introduced motorcycles, MK7 introduced more dynamic environment traversal, and MK8 introduced anti-gravity.

-I honestly think Trump is one of my more favorable presidential candidates for 2016 since while he tends to exaggerate(or has he likes to call it Truthful hyperbole) he still brings up issues that are barely addressed in presidential elections like black on black violence plus he isn't backed by anyone, he ran a successful business empire with only 4 bankruptcies out of 100's of companies with 2 of them being from the same company and all 4 of them happening in Atlantic City which was bankrupt at the time they happened, and he is also one of the two candidates(the other one being another one of my favorites Rand Paul) who would try to cooperate with Russia to take down ISIS instead of starting another cold war like certain candidates(Fiorina, Rubio, and Hillary).
Onto non-political opinions:
-I think Part 1 of Jojo is very under-appreciated since it is one of the more better parts of the series by just being a straight up parody of 80's shounen
-I predict Batman v. Superman:Dawn of Justice will end up like The Amazing Spiderman 2
-I personally think Tumblr isn't that bad of a site if you ignore all the radical SJW stuff there
-The Disney fandom is just as annoying as the Sonic Fanbase since they overhype every animated disney movie as sad, touching, or deep
-People who are smug and condescending on the Internet are the most annoying people to come across since they have this obnoxious holier-than-thou complex
-Canadian Bacon is just as good as American Bacon
-Local news is one of the better sources of news

^ I will say that people who stereotype tumblr as "full of SJWs" clearly haven't seen aaaaall the many, many porn blogs on there.
I think age of consent in the United States needs to just be 16 years of age nationwide. It's already 16 in a majority of the 50 states (31 to be exact, including my home state of Georgia), and it's only a minority of states where it's 18 (10) or 17 (8) [in case you're wondering, for some odd reason Texas is the one state that seems to lack a specifically defined age of consent law]. The only reason why American-made TV shows act like it's 18 nationwide is because said shows are probably produced in California, where age of consent is 18, so they're only taking their home state into account. Plus hell the entirety of Canada has age of consent at 16 as well.
I feel that by age 16 most people are sexually mature enough to where they can decide if they wish to engage in sexual activities with people who are also sexually mature. At least I'd really like to hope that by this point in a person's life they've had sex ed or "the talk."

I feel like Game Theory gets a lot more hate than it deserves. The physics based ones are generally pretty solid (apart from the occasional error trying to determine the height of a fictional character) and the other ones, while speculative, are not completely groundless. Yes, sometimes the leaps in logic are hard to swallow, but the guy makes a claim and backs it up with citations from multiple sources, and doesn't resort to logical fallacies, as far as I'm aware. Even if the theories themselves aren't sound, he does a very good job of properly presenting his argument, which is good, considering how many arguments on the internet are without citations and riddled with logical fallacies.
There's a difference between disagreeing and denouncing, after all. One need not imply the other.

I never noticed the hate he got until after he made the FNAF theories, so my basis for the hate he got was from the anti-FNAF people. Then I realized that it's the fandom that takes the toll on that, saying that it's all fact.
But I agree with you that they get way too much hate. In the end, it's all just theories, right or wrong. It's the science of the videos that make me interested.

Human nature is (more) based on society and environment than some collective mentality within all humans, humans aren't "naturally" greedy, selfish, or good.
Also, Kropotkin was pretty based.

I'm unsure people in this thread understand the term "unpopular" opinion.

I don't like Family Guy or South Park mostly because of the basis of their jokes. I feel that South Park is more raunchy than Family Guy in this case. I could see why people like these two shows, especially South Park, but the kind of humor it presents is not my type of humor.

Halloween is far better than Christmas.
I can't help but feel that there's a lot of arrogant Canadians on the net that annoy me (I don't have anything against Canada in general; it's just that certain Canadians think that because they have a universal healthcare system that Canada is automatically superior to the U.S. and is thus perfect).
The later seasons of King of the Hill are a really big mixed bag. The good episodes are there, no doubt, but I feel the later seasons also did some stuff that really bugged me. One major one is Peggy seemed to get progressively more annoying in the later seasons, becoming really egotistical by acting like her Spanish is flawless when really it's pretty crap (something that got her in hot water when she inadvertently brought a native Mexican child back to the US) and actually getting jealous at her own son for being good at cooking things. Lucky could also really be annoying in some episodes, like the one where he refuses to go to the hospital for some reason that felt pretty BS to me, even by sitcom standards.
So yeah King of the Hill is a good show, but I think it was probably best it ended when it did, the later seasons really started to show some really annoying problems that I worry would have only gotten worse.
I really don't understand the view that South Park is somehow 'unbiased' and 'presents all sides equally.' There's a clear ideology: dislike of change and general cynicism. The episode where they actually brushed off global warming as a hoax sealed the deal for me.
In my teens I was a big fan, and on reflection the show taught me to roll my eyes at current affairs, act like I knew everything and brush off the struggles of others as pointless. I haven't watched the newer season, but if what I've heard is accurate, it's gotten even worse.

(plus the creators are libertarians and I haven't yet seen an entire episode poking fun at libertarians. There was a single gag about Ayn Rand in an early episode I remember, but not much else. Unless you count that one about hacktivists.)
I guess people assume it's balanced because both liberals and conservatives are lampooned, but those are by no means the only two political opinions. The creators even stated in an interview that they despise liberals more, despite disliking both. Hence why "South Park Republican" is a phrase.
I've had this discussion in a few spaces, and the best theory I can come up is that South Park supports the status quo. It chortles at attempts to bring change, or any social conscience whatsoever, which encompasses both liberals and conservatives.
tl;dr Matt and Trey are libertarians, and the reason South Park seems balanced despite leaving their own ideology alone is because libertarians are fairly uncommon in the media compared to Dems & Repubs.
"The episode where they actually brushed off global warming as a hoax sealed the deal for me."
>_>
How could you even come to that conclusion?
As abridged as I can make run down of the plot
Characters accidentally cause a "natural" disaster
others misinterpret this is a sign of global warming and the end of the world and due to scientific illiteracy amongst the public; everyone listens and panics, while not helping those in the disaster due to trying to shelter themselves from nothing.
Character eventually admits it was their fault and not global warming but no-one listens
The end.
Also the reason South Park may appear to hate change, is the fact that it's always been a show out to make fun of something almost every single episode, and it's become more topical recently, obviously if it's mocking newer ideas and culture it's going to look like it doesn't like change.
I don't think Asgore deserves all the hate he's getting.
And Toriel is just being a mean lady to him.
I can't help but feel that Trump will win the Republican nomination against all odds. I hope I'm wrong.
Adding to that, assuming that Trump wins the Republican nomination and Clinton wins the Democratic nomination (honestly, I see that was worse than Trump winning the Republican nomination), I would actually consider voting for Trump out of sheer spite for Clinton and the status quo.
Seeing the phrase "Gashi-gashi can do no wrong" in the comments section of any of his/her artwork is really annoying, tired, and overdone.

I'm starting to get kind of sick of seeing all these Undertale related accounts (and what i mean by that are the accounts that pretend to be characters from the game) on KnowYourMeme. I've counted, and we have:
Two Frisk accounts
Three Papyrus accounts
FIVE Sans accounts
one undyne account
Two Alphys accounts
Two Mettaton accounts
FIVE Chara accounts
Three Asgore accounts
Three Toriel accounts
one napstablook account
one muffet account (not Mako, I don't think she really counts)
and NINE FUCKING ASRIEL ACCOUNTS
Seriously, why the fuck are there so many Undertale accounts?! I know it's popular, but I didn't see this happen when Steven Universe became popular, or when anything else became that popular (except MLP and maybe Homestuck)
I hate the fine bros channel they are just idiots beating a dead horse with their reaction videos and making money of tragedies also i think they put actors becuase no one can be that stupid also this describe in a nutshell the channel.
1.Rap is an inferior genre of music (if you want to know why, it's all in the lyrics and the ostentatious behavior)
2.Country needs to stop trying to be like Rock and go back to it's roots
3.Rock needs to stop trying to incorporate Rap vocals
4. Alternative needs to stop having whiny boy emo shit
5. Whomever categorized the sub-genres of Metal to make it have 149 flavors needs to be fired.
6. You do not need double bass drums and constant 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 to make an exciting, adrenaline-pumping song.
7. Djent needs to die.
8. Screamo and Growling should not be considered "lead vocals".
9. There needs to be Power and Symphonic Metal on radio stations.
1) BtBAM's Colours is one of the most monotonous albums I've heard in a long time. It's good, but not the next coming of Christ.
2) My Arms, Your Hearse was Opeth's peak. After Blackwater Park, everything just went downhill.
3) St. Anger actually has some legitimately good riffs on it, and some of the tracks aren't actually that bad.
4) Ziltoid is only popular because of the 'random' humour and not on the music.
5) Djent is the worst thing to happen to metal since nu-metal, and will probably be able to kill prog metal sadly.
6) Dethklok's music is some of the most boring DM I've ever heard. They're only popular because of a TV show.
7) Death's The Sound of Perseverance is terrible.
8) Mayhem's The Grand Declaration of War is actually pretty good.
9) The production on Deicide's s/t album ruins it completely for me
10) In Flames' Jester Race is probably the most overrated album ever. And there are hardly any good melodeath albums.

Seriously? How is this an unpopular opinion at all?
The Fine Bros. are widely hated, and have been for a while. If anything, actually liking them is the more unpopular opinion.

Correction, Fine Bros. are widely hated in Know Your Meme.

Just because TFB has fans doesn't make the hatedom any less significant. Teen Titans Go has legitimate fans, but its hatedom is still very sizable.

TFB hate is only more obvious here because of how often Fine Bros. videos get frontpaged. It exists elsewhere, but it's not as in-your-face because TFB doesn't get brought up nearly as often.
- I really don't care for Steven Universe
- Jedi Outcast is a seriously flawed game that only gets the praise it does because of nostalgia goggles. I think Jedi Academy is the better game
- I was rather underwhelmed by Indivisible. While I do think the art and character design is fantastic, I simply could not get into the gameplay when I tried out the prototype
- Battle Tendency was better than Stardust Crusaders (is this an unpopular opinion? I think it is, but I'm not sure)
- As somebody already mentioned, the number of Undertale RP accounts on here are getting way out of hand
- Monty Python is simply not funny to me. I sat through the entirety of Monty Python and the Holy Grail without laughing once
Courage the Cowardly Dog and Adventure Time are very overrated

I think Monster Musume is a poorly-written show. I mean, it doesn't matter (it's softcore porn) but still.
I've been watching some old Fairly Oddparents eps recently, and although I loved that show as a kid, it's just not clicking with me today. The characters are frustratingly stupid, the jokes don't know wether they're aiming for five-year-olds or adults, there's at least one shit joke per episode, and so on and so on. People have been complaining about how FOP jumped the shark recently, but I'm getting the sinking feeling it was never that good in the first place.
I'm honestly getting rather tired of seeing "Tumblr this" and "Tumblr that" comments all over the comments section of Steven Universe and Undertale pictures uploaded to this site that have NOTHING to do with Tumblr whatsoever. I swear people on this site like to do exactly what they stereotype the bad side of Tumblr for: making an issue out of something when one wasn't even there.
Justin Bieber is actually starting to be actually good, especiually with What do You Mean and Sorry.
Undertale's soundtrack isn't in my opinion a real selling point of the game. That isn't to say the OST is bad; it isn't. The music tracks are generally pleasant to listen to and none of them are really bad, and there are a few real standout tracks here and there. The thing is, that compliment is one I can give to a lot of other games. Like, A LOT of other games. For a game's soundtrack to really be worth mentioning for me, it has to be the kind of OST where the whole thing is unique and memorable. Something like Hotline Miami 2 or Sonic Colors, where every stage theme sticks out and is instantly recognizable. I can say that a lot of Undertale's tracks just don't hold up to those standards for me.
Also, the use of chiptunes in Undertale's soundtrack just to make it feel retro is fucking dumb. There's nothing retro about a game made in GameMaker.
I personally found most Jojo fans to be rather annoying on Know Your Meme. I'm not saying the show is bad or anything since I haven't watched the show yet, but still.

I'm with you on that. This site probably has the most Jojo fans I've seen online. I pretty much got tired of seeing Jojo everywhere on this site. I did check the show out. I enjoyed it at first, but I lost interest later on--I mentioned this before here, but it just doesn't really appeal to me, I found it overhyped. Imma take a gulp too.
I think undertale gets too much praise for what it actually is, I mean it's good, but would I say best game of all time.
I would'nt even say it's best game of 2015, top 10 sure, but not the outright best of all of 2015
MacPrice wrote:

I'm actually going to agree with this. Truth is I didn't even know that was Bieber at first, I thought it was some new person. Upon learning it's Bieber I went "oh huh…"
I still don't like how Bieber's been giving off this "bad boy" attitude outside of his music (he's doing it in such a way that it makes him come off as a jerk), but gotta give the guy props for his recent music actually being stuff I'll gladly listen to on a car ride.

fite me
But seriously, while Academy is better strictly in terms of gameplay I preferred Outcast's plot and the fact that the saber battles didn't happen every time you turned a corner. Some people even thought that Outcast overused the saber battles but they happen ridiculously often in Academy.
Either way I hope we get another sequel.
Loved Hamtaro back then, still love it now.
I feel too many arguments regarding copyright and trademark are too one sided, as it's almost always people arguing "da eval corporashuns" are always in the wrong about how they protect their intellectual properties. Now I do acknowledge sometimes a company or person can go a bit far and do crap like take legal action against stuff that should be protected, like parody or transformative works like a review (as we saw in the case with Derick Savage), but in other situations where someone is making money off of a property they do not own and are not doing it in a way that's not very clearly protected under some form of fair use, I do feel a company or person has every right to protect their intellectual property through legal means.
People forget copyright and trademark laws are strict against the property owners too, as the owners can lose their copyright or trademark if they do not take some form of legal action when people are making money off their property in a non-fair use manner without permission. For example I can guarantee you 100% that in order for Black Mesa to be sold on Steam, the people behind this fan remake had to come to a legal agreement with Valve that results in Valve earning profit off of the games sales.

I unironically still like some nu-metal. Korn, Slipknot's early stuff, some stuff by Mudvayne (like "Dig" is a really good song to listen to when I feel I need to let off some steam), early Linkin Park, and hell even some Limp Bizkit is just "fun" to listen to.
Really the genre's no "edgier" than death or black metal, I don't see why nu-metal gets shit on with "ow the edge" when you've got black metal acts singing about Satan and burning churches (I know they're not black metal, but the lead singer of Deicide burned a fucking inverted cross into his head just to piss off Christians, if that doesn't scream "edgy" I don't know what does [again I'm mostly referring to people who treat "edgy" as a buzzword to mean "something that I think is completely bad" rather than distinguishing between "good edgy" and "bad edgy"]).
