Facebook has been shown to censor conservative ideas for wrongthink

And Rowan Kaiser of IGN gave a game an "OK" review because the Publisher endorsed "Serial Harasser" TotalBiscuit

Also big hype and big negative response for Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare respectively.

Battlefield 1 is a WW1 combat FPS

Cod:IW is… Halo meets Mass Effect

Luckily CoD:IW is going into control mode and thanking its complainers about how passionate they are and will try to compensate accordingly, instead of doubling down against their target audience.

There's some speculation that most are upset with the announcement because a packaged game; Modern Warfare: Remastered, can only be bought as a combined pre-order. (yellow text in the video makes it clear that the game is stand alone content, but no mention of sale information)

No idea if there's going to be any spun narrative on the games as they progress, keep eyes peeled.

Steven Universe is not about identity politics. Just because SJWs go crazy for a show for fifteen minutes doesn't mean it was pandering to them, they disowned the show after the crew called them out for bullying anyway.

If lesbians and plus sized women count as identity politics then the porn industry must be SJW too.

I never said it was about identity politics. I said there were episodes with identity politics in them. And it is not a bad show, just by far not the best ever, and not even the best in CN, just because it is not the worst does not mean it is the best. It is quite good, but not the best. And don't use the term "plus sized", you are either talking about fat/overweight or tall women. No euphemisms please, we know what they lead to.

Oh, I remember that GOG promo. You have no Idea how people behaved on that one. I remember people saying they would cancel their GOG account and things like that. Until now GOG still has a positive relationship with TB and in fact he shows up often in their official Twitch streams, most of those who hate him are apparently gone, either they decided to shut up or they were banned.

GOG, and CD Projekt in general, does not seem to give a flying fuck about SJWs one way or another, yet for some reason they decided not to release Hatred, which got many gamers rather angry.

And actually I'm talking about muscular women. Some people like that the show has female heroes who actually look strong,

instead of just being skinny.

Opinion
Well since were talking about Cartoons instead of things dealing with Gamergate I might as well give my opinion on this derailment.

I've watched all of SU to the current Haitus so this is my interpretation, keep in mind I'm talking about the show, NOT the Fandom.

I can think of a few that bring an issue relating to the acceptance a person (rather than gender politics) for SU but it's there for interpretation. I can't think (at the moment) of a specific example in SU that went "BLATANTLY OBVIOUS GENDER ISSUE"

"The Answer" ep74 is the first one that comes to mind, It's an explanation of how a relationship between two characters is immediately shunned and considered heresy from their social group and end up getting accepted by those that they thought were the enemy.

"On the Run" ep40 brings out a whole "I didn't ask to be born this way" message, but again, I believe it has to do more with accepting identity rather than gender.

"Keeping it Together" ep60 shows how the idea of a relationship can be grossly misinterpreted by those that don't understand it.

ep73 "Too Far" is the only one that comes to mind (currently) about roles, but its talking about a class system that was invented for the show. Parallels can be drawn but again, that's up to individual interpretation.

For me SU is more about teaching acceptance of people as they are rather than being concerned about what physically makes them.

Honestly, Id say there's more similarity between the characters and Czar Royalty than gender politics. All the gemstones, mentioned so far, were big on the Russian Royalty including the Fusions. (Plus in Episode 76, "it could have been great", there's a big hole in the middle of Russia.)

End Opinion

ANYWAY

Daniel Vavra explains how an 15th century war game can't have people of color because they weren't present in the region represented in the game.

While in this specific case localization changes seem to be minor and somewhat irrelevant, you should care about them in general. You see. some localization changes are not faithful to the source material, and that is something we should care. When the story is drastically changed we should care, when gameplay content is removed we should care, when crucial elements are removed we should care, when a character is changed we should care, when a character becomes a pickle obsessed dude we should care. Simple as that.

To be honest, I'm the kind of person who cares more about quality than faithfulness to the source material. Unless it's something I adore

Still off track

Not exactly. What I'm saying is you can find and see convincing parallels but most of it lies in the idea of the interpreter and probably won't be confirmed nor denied by the creators.

Take for example the "gay" joke in Disney's Frozen from the Wander Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna. There's a bit where the shop keeper mentions his family and waves to them, to which you see the family in the sauna hollering back.

There doesn't appear to be a wife and the man in the sauna could be his brother as he just mentions that it's his family in there. (But probably not the ENTIRE family) However, the interpretation is because there's an adult male in the sauna with the kids, the shopkeeper is implied to be gay.

Since it's just background and used as a gag to show that the shopkeeper is running a family business, the shopkeepers identity is neither confirmed nor denied and anything claiming a such can proved as speculation and implication but not genuine confirmation.

Back on track

Also it appears that Patreon got Hacked again according to Ian Miles Chong (not Arthur Chu)

Oh hey! Towels on Page 42. There's an answer here somewhere, but I wouldn't panic over it.

@Garde
The wife is the woman on the right of the image. The man is his son.
At least that was what seemed to me the first time I watched that movie.
But what does grasping at straws on the possible sexuality of an extra based on a joke that takes a few seconds of a Disney movie has anything to do with Gamergate?

@Bookie
Thumbs up if u cry evryteim ;_;
"This player in my group is intelligent, creative and hard-working. He makes the game more fun for me and the other players.
But he's guilty of wrongthink! Should I kick him out for not sharing the same opinion as me on a subject unrelated to our game?"

The way I see it, there's two options you could try:
1- Consider his position that maybe Gamergate is not out to eat babies and search for evidence instead of clickbait articles and hearsay.
or
2- Forget about Gamergate and SJWs, roll the d20 and have some fun with everyone!
I'd choose number two, I have a feminist friend who, although not rabid, believes in the white privilege and patriarchy buzzwords. And all beliefs disappear when I play some Smash 4 against him.
Fuck, a player who plays DnD with so much politics and intrigue that's just like playing WoD? As a GM who ran too much WoD games where the players could spend a whole session partying, I say you're in RPG heaven.

OK, so clarification required. When I wrote this I did not read the article, I just heard about the case regarding rumors that apparently the game had a few background elements removed. I did not know the whole VAs making new dialogs and the heavy edits to character designs. Now, knowing that, it is unacceptable. I am a translator, I know the dos and don'ts of translation and localization. And what NOA is doing is a don't. Just as bad as their heavy edited Mortal Kombat which resulted in Sega being the top dog in the console wars for a period.

Has there been any proof about rerecorded dialouge? This is the first I heard of it

Also mark my words, TMS will be FE:F 2 unless they start backpedaling.

This guy is the best player they've encountered. It's turned the game into a far better experience than you've had before, and all the other players like him because of that. And yet, you're wanting to kick this person out of the group just because they "wrongthink." Willing to let the whole game suffer because he can think for himself. How do you think that would sound to the other players?

You know, the bare fact that this person even has this problem (or thinks it's a problem) proves their "problematic" player right. He's not only right, they're part of the problem.

That last one makes me want to do research into that Van Valkenburg story. Yes Zoe's terrible, but I wonder what she did that was so bad to get thrown out of the name like that. It feels very… Illuminati-Conspiracy levels.

Oh that whole thing about assuming the character was gay and how it links to Gamergate? Its a roundabout story. When Frozen aired it was hailed as being incredibly progressive, the assumption that Wandering Oaken was gay was one of the big viral talkabouts at the time (Articles are still around in engine searches and list it off, buzzfeed style). A "triumph in animation."Basically agenda pushing (Via straw grasping) through a medium, much like with what were seeing in Gamergate right now. (So it's somewhat related, loosely, but related.) The reason why I brought it up in still off topic / back on topic bold was to make sure it fit in the posts on the previous (and current) page that were debating about sexuality and gender in cartoons felt completely off from the discussion of Gamergate and what was going on in it.

So she's actually a "stereotypical, wealthy legacy, wasp girl" who was excommunicated from her family following her divorce. It says that her "bux" (whatever that means) had ruined his career by drinking. I personally think that given her track record, infidelity may have also come into play, which would certainly give the family motive to wholly disown her.
Her divorcing him alone might have been enough to do that too, I'm just thinking out loud here. If she was anything like she is now (which is a safe assumption), it's probably what drove him to drink in the first place.

All of this info is really… strange. There's a fair amount of tangible evidence connecting her to the family, and yet not enough quite enough t be certain, making it seem like an attempt at erasing her connection to the family was made. If there was not a part of this family, then any connection would be something simple and likely inconsequential, but it would be something concrete.

It's too much to be a coincidence, but not enough to be certain.

However, given her penchant for deceit and manipulation, it's likely that she would also work to cover this up just to pull the "poor trailer-trash girl" act. It's a very fitting masquerade, oddly enough.

I need to watch that. It's been in my Netflix queue for a month.

Meanwhile, from that old tangent of Common Core possibly being related to Social Justice Matters:

One of the professors in charge of writing up the common core claims he did it to dispel white privilege.

Well it's been about 24 hours after my last post so I'll give an update about one personal connection to Social Justice matters going on in the world and one that's… well amusing.

First the amusement

Apparently removal of power for non-coed greek houses included all female as well, and the students of those houses are wondering why they weren't exempt.

And for the personal which is going to be "listen and believe" on two matters:

1 It involves a friend of mine IRL who is Anti-extremist and while they have posted evidence on their social media account, I don't know if it's appropriate here.
2. It has to deal with matters involving SJW at a Post-Dystopian themed furry convention that's going on right now. (So the irony is thick)

Basically: BLFC hosted at the Grand Sierra Resort is underway and hosted in a Discussion hall from 1-2PM (date unknown) there's a SJW Meet and Greet in the Whitney room. The description
is: "What is Social Justice? What are the stereotypes out there regarding political correctness and sjws? Come and join our Meet and Greet for Social Justice-minded furs looking to discuss feminism, anti-racism, gender, sexuality, social media, and activism. This panel is open to all people regardless of race, class, gender, sexuality, age, ability, neurodiversity, citizenship status and religion, We will have introductions and a brief discussion on social justice, safe spaces, and language before breaking off into groups for community games"

So if you can, trust, but verify.

Oh, this one I trust with a lot of evidence. I almost believe it completely for a reason. I have a liking for furry, well for cute stuff in general, and I have seen the furry community being infected with SJW insanity even before it was trendy.

You see, SJWs take advantage of those who seek acceptance, and furries have been social outcasts for a while. Not to mention the fact that many members in the furry community were actually insane enough to become otherkin and the furry thing was their way to project it before SJWs made it socially acceptable to claim you are a cat and have full right to take a dump in a litter box. Also a large part of the community is into gay porn and feminism from start.

Oh, and many furries are into very unsavory fetishes such as scat, diapers, morbid obesity (I find all the mentioned as well as others disgusting) and things like that, which makes them even more vulnerable to the appeal of SJWs who will accept anything that could be used to "smash the patriarchy".

So yeah, I am not surprised by furfags being infected by the cancer of social justice. I just wish I could cleanse the whole thing, but I guess it became unsalvageable a long time ago.

I am a supporter of free speech and actually like furry porn too, but I guess once you cross the line from sexualized anthropomorphic and sapient animals and you enter the areas of actual bestiality and fetishes related with filth and disease, it is too late to save you from madness. And that happened to the furry community. As individuals many stand against SJWs, but the vast majority were lured by their false welcoming appearance.

What the hell are you even going on about?

I've fucking seen nothing related to SJWs in the furry community (No artists changing their style, no propaganda art, no comments using their talking points). If anything they don't fucking care about acceptance anymore. They are happy to carve out their little part of the internet and go there for their acceptance. I haven't seen pretty much anything about furries wanting other people to accept them since like 2010. I think most of the trolls who would normally go after furries gave up when Bronies showed up, then gave up on Bronies when the SJWs started showing up all over the place.

The SJWs are the kind of people who would go after people looking for acceptance but I'm sure whatever fucking panel they put on at this convention will be devoid of people besides the 10 SJWs who showed up for that panel specifically.

Well, this was going to happen eventually.

I think I'm going to have to go AWOL for awhile on here. I've got a job and an internship coming up this summer, along with a bunch of other little things. I need to avoid unnecessary distraction and focus on the projects at hand.
I love this site. It's one of the last few sites where you can have a civil conversation, and the general community is just overall better and more intelligent and educated than most other sites.

I'm not giving up the GG fight, nor the fight against the SOCJUS cults. I'm just not going to be as active on here. I won't be seeing any updates on this forum because my mail now won't even receive emails from KYM for some stupid reason. I hit "mark as spam" once by accident, quickly undid it, but something went wrong. No matter what I've done with the settings, nothing shows up. Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Anyway, I'll see you all later.

Oh, you have not seen it. Does not mean it is not there. Just go around furry and brony related pages and you will see that at least half of them are in favor of SJWs, the other half is either against or not interested.

The thing is, they infected them as much as the rest of the geek community. Of course they could not infect the specific part of gaming.

Gamers are the last bastion of the geek community against SJWs. They encompass all parts of the geek community not infected by SJWs. But I have seen it, in both the brony and furry community. In particular when you talk about things such as "representation" and if you say you don't like things such as fat furs or femboys. Then all SJWs come out of the woodwork to call you this phobic and that phobic.

They are there, like a cancer, growing under the skin, unseen, ready to infect everything and kill it from the inside. That is SJW nature.

I even saw a furry page sharing in a serious tone a picture in which there was a statement in which they claimed to be oppressed, and claimed to be "fursecuted" just like the jews. Seriously, the infection is there, just because you can't see it does not mean is not there.

You'll excuse me if I'm a bit skeptical of those claims. I spend most of my time on furry websites and never see such behaviors. Also don't paint Gamers as the only fucking force fighting against SJWs because plenty of other fandoms contain people who can't stand SJWs and would get rid of them if they could. Also groups are not mutially exclusive. There are tons of Gamer-Furs, Atheist-Star Wars fans, all geek fandoms overlap and no group stands on its own. People cannot be put into neat little boxes.

I have to agree with this. I'm sort of in the furry stuff and I have to say that it's there. It doesn't get reflected in the art much, but it has been evident in conversation at times. Just a general feel as well.
Fortunately, there seems to be quite a few who are immune to the infection. I have seen some of their art reflecting real-life interactions with the crazies. They're really wanting to move.

SJWs/feminists/hipsters have also made attempts at infecting the programming world. Demanding things like people be ousted not just from online interactions, but to be ostracized in real-life/face-to-face communities because they said something someone didn't like that had nothing to do with programming, as well as the whole "just because I can't program doesn't mean I shouldn't be hired as a programmer," bull.
Thankfully, that got squashed out. Hopefully, it will continue to be squashed.

You see. I frequent furry places too. I do not call myself a furry because I don't need labels that much, but I like those thing. Now, when I said gamers encompass all the non infected areas of geek community I did not mean it was only gamers who were tired of them, but that gamers were the ones pushing back and tied to other geek parts. From gamer bronies to steampunk gamers, just as you mentioned. They overlap, but gamers are more prone to be immune to SJW infection. Gaming is one of the parts of geek subcultures where the SJW cancer is yet to reach the 50% of the population or higher, while the rest of the geek areas have a 50% or higher infection.

And Dioxin's description of the situation is very accurate. It is the same I have seen. You must be careful, the infection is there, both the brony and furry fandoms are in a state of 50% infection, in the case of bronies it consists of late arrivals, and in the case of furries it is mostly over sensitive ones and otherkin. And that is a weakness of both groups, they don't reject otherkin with such a strength and often mistake them for roleplayers.

$20 says the 'journalist' played Sunset for a few hours afterwards to cleanse himself of the AWESOME.
The only good walking simulator is a cancelled one. And the Stanley Parable.
