Club Chalamet is a fan forum and series of social media pages dedicated to actor Timothee Chalamet and his career and personal life. Club Chalamet has been run by 58-year-old Simone Cromer since June 2018, garnering a steady fanbase throughout the 2020s. Club Chalamet became the subject of criticism several times between 2020 and 2024, first garnering major pushback in September 2023 for her public hatred of the relationship between Chalamet and Kylie Jenner. In January 2025, Club Chalamet became the further subject of discourse and memes following the Golden Globes.
History
On June 28th, 2018, the @ClubChalamet X / Twitter[1] page made its first post, sharing a link to the Club Chalamet forum, hosted on ProBoards.[2] Club Chalamet also has an Instagram[3] page. By January 2025, Club Chalamet amassed over 36,000 followers on X and 6,400 followers on Instagram.
September 2023 Kylie Jenner Posts
On September 5th, 2023, Club Chalamet, or Cromer, made a now-deleted post to her Instagram page commenting on the newly revealed relationship between Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, after they were photographed together at a Beyonce concert. The post heavily criticizes their relationship and suggests that Kylie's team set her up with Chalamet to clean her reputation. The deleted post was shared by the Oh No They Didn't blog.[4]
Cromer made several other negative posts about their relationship around the same time, including several where she refers to Kylie as "Slurpee," because she sees Slurpees as "artificial junk." She also suggested that Kylie got with Chalamet after stalking him.
Cromer hosted a Twitter Space[5] that night to further discuss their relationship announcement. According to Oh No They Didn't, during the Space, Cromer claimed she was fully supportive of Chalamet's relationship with Lily-Rose Depp. She also said Kylie has "dark energy" due to the Astroworld tragedy and the fact that she hosted the party where Megan Thee Stallion was shot, claiming she needs to date Chalamet to get regain some of her fandom because of the tragedy.
She also claimed she is not in love with Chalamet but feels protective over him due to their 30-year age difference. Following the Space, some social media users began accusing Cromer of having a parasocial relationship with Chalamet.[6]
Club Chalamet's posts about Kylie were reported on by numerous media outlets that year, including Rolling Stone[7] and NBC.[8]
December 2023 Meeting With Chalamet
On December 10th, 2023, the @ClubChalamet X[9] account posted three Getty Images of herself with Timothee Chalamet at an event for the film Wonka. The post garnered around 50 likes and was reposted to /r/popculturechat[10] the next day, garnering around 800 upvotes in a year.
January 2025 Discourse
On January 5th, 2025, Club Chalamet became the subject of online discourse and memes following the 2024 Golden Globes awards, which saw Chalamet lose the "Best Actor" award. That night, the X[11] page posted a photo of Chalamet sitting at his table at the awards show, with Kylie's seat empty, writing, "Timothée is the center of attention. He looks so regal," garnering over 5,400 likes in two days.
Later that night, X[12] user @ctaylorverse quote-reposted the post, writing, "her managing to find the one shot taken while kylie was taking a bathroom break is taking me out…true dedication," garnering over 243,000 likes in two days.
Online Presence
Club Chalamet and Simone Cromer have become the subject of memes throughout the 2020s, often referenced and brought up online when any news breaks regarding the relationship between Chalamet and Kylie. She has also become the subject of video essays and other opinion-related content.
On April 23rd, 2024, X[13] user @aseperatecinema posted a photo of a Succession ad reading, "The whole world is watching for my next move," captioning the post, "club chalamet knowing at least one million people are waiting for her next post," garnering over 26,000 likes in nine months. This is in reference to rumors that month that Kylie was pregnant with Chalamet's baby, which ended up being false.
Later that day, X[14] user @rachelzegler posted, "true love is explaining to your chronically offline boyfriend who clubchalamet is," garnering over 40,000 likes in the same span of time.
On September 27th, YouTuber[15] D'Angelo Wallace uploaded a video in which he discusses Timothee Chalamet's fandom, focusing largely on Club Chalamet, garnering over 384,000 views in four months.
On January 5th, 2025, X[16] user @meltborne posted a video of Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande during a Wicked interview, writing, "kylie not pregnant. we just avoided the biggest clubchalamet crashout of all time," garnering over 46,000 likes in two days.

Club Chalamet is run by 58-year-old Simone Cromer.
On October 12th, 2023, Club Chalamet stated their support for Israel in regards to the Hamas-Israel conflict on Instagram.[16]
