About
Chopped Chin or I've Been Running Into You In My Head is a series of memes based on a viral video of former WNBA player Renee Montgomery dancing courtside with her cousin referred to as "chopped chin" for the appearance of his chin, at an Atlanta Dream basketball game. The video was originally uploaded to the Atlanta Dream Instagram page in August 2023. It became the subject of memes in December 2024 when Instagram user halal_man_2 began consistently posting motivational and emotional quotes over the video, inspiring ironic memes set to the song "Bring Me Back (Enox Mantano Remix)" by Miles Away, which refer to Montgomery's cousin as "chopped chin." In this case, "chopped" is being used as slang meaning "ugly." "Chopped Chin" is also used to refer to halal_man_2's account.
