About
Thomas Ridgewell (a.k.a TomSka) is a British Youtube personality who is well known for his work on the asdfmovie series, as well as co-founding the Eddsworld series. He currently writes, directs, and produces his own short videos on YouTube, as well as posting his personal Vlogs on his secondary channel DarkSquidge.
Online History
In 2006, Thomas co-founded a company CakeBomb, alongside Edward Gould, Christopher Bingham, Rosie Ball, Abi Hunt, Ruth Noakes, and Mina Lavender, in order to have one central, legitimate company under which they could all share their creative works. He created his first and most well-known YouTube account "TomSka" in 2007 and has continued to post videos on it up to the present.
Eddsworld
In 2002, Tom became aware of animator Edd Gould and the talents he possessed. The two soon became friends and often collaborated on many projects together, including Edd Gould's series Eddsworld, where Tom was not only a writer and producer, but also a voice actor of main character based on himself. Edd Gould passed away in 2012 due to acute lymphoblastic leukemia, leaving the production and continuation of Eddsworld to Tom, as stated in the video below.
asdfmovie
Asdfmovie (pronounced ass-duff-moo-vee) is a video series made by Tomska in 2008 with sequels from 2010 onwards. The videos mainly consists of a series of short, stick animations, and are largely considered to be TomSka's most popular videos.
