About
Mutt's Law is a catchphrase, series of exploitable images and subcategory of the Amerimutt meme that highlights and condemns anonymous American users of 4chan when they talk about interracial sex that involves black men (as it usually comes with the uttering of the internet slang "BBC"). Becoming a stereotype throughout 4chan and beyond, American users' seemingly obsession with the phrase "Built for BBC" made the catchphrase a common stereotype and a format of its own, aiming towards the shunning of their fetishization of black men.
Origin
Although the earliest mention of "mutts" (used on 4chan as an alternative way to refer to American users of the website) and Poe's Law first appeared on the /sp/ board on July 18th, 2018 (shown below, left),[1] the first time the iconic exploitable image that is associated with the meme was posted, was on November 28th, 2019, on /mu/ (shown below, right).[2]
The image (shown below), showcases the definition of "Mutt's Law" with an Amerimutt added on it.
As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of an Amerimutt mentioning black dicks or interracial sex approaches 1.
The image gained wide popularity on the website, being posted over 4,310 times on various boards.[3][4][5] Subsequent images associated to the original started being posted in following months and years (examples shown, below).[6][7][8]
