About
Amerimutt, also known as Le 56% Face, is the nickname given to a series of illustrations depicting a mixed-race American who identifies as white, referencing a statistic that whites comprise 56% of the American population.
Amerimutt functions essentially as the latest meme in a rivalry between American and European users of 4chan. Stemming from the European migration crisis, American users have been criticizing Europe for letting in refugees from non-white countries. Amerimutt serves to point out the hypocrisy of these American users by reminding them that their country is extremely diverse itself, with the United States' population only being 56% white.
Origin
The earliest known archived posting of the illustration was in a thread submitted to /pol/[6] on September 25th, 2015, depicting a person wearing a McDonald's T-shirt with flies around their body saying "Let me tell you about what parts of the world are white" (shown below).
Spread
On December 20th, 2016, a 4chan user commented with an illustration of the character along with the caption "Le 56% face" (shown below).[1]
On August 3rd, 2017, a post was submitted to pol featuring a poster of the Amerimutt character with the caption "Der Untermensch" (shown below).[3]
On November 1st, a post featuring the character drawn in the style of Groyper was submitted to /pol/,[2] along with a green text story an Amerimutt (shown below).[5]
On October 23rd, a copypasta referencing the 56% statistic was submitted to /pol/ titled "Dear European whites" (shown below).[4]
"And I specify "whites," because, whatever you say about le 56%, you're on the same path, except you're disarmed. You have no recourse. Do you really think you're getting your women un-raped, or your country un-Islamized, by dogpiling on other whites who are being subjected to the same thing that's making your people into a Smithsonian exhibit 20 years from now? There's a reason the 56% thing exists, and it's the same reason your countries are turning into rape-a-paloozas, why London has a Muslim mayor, why Germany's chancellor keeps letting in thousands of jihadis, etc. You think you're somehow winning with this? You fucking dolts, you're all equally as fucked as any of us, and instead of weeding out the root cause, you turn on your OWN. My fiancee was right when she said not all whites deserve to live. You're WORSE than race traitors and coalburners, you know the TRUTH and use it to do what? Wage bizarro pissing contests to see who's the most cucked? Laugh at one another while your entire race across the world slides into oblivion? Good job, you're really "redpilled," except you're too chickenshit to organize and rise up as a people to preserve yourselves, and feel safer taking potshots at each other than deconstructing the ZOG you bemoan here 24/7. 56% here should alarm you, not tickle you. We're at this point WITH firearms. Where do you see yourselves in a few decades without them? The time for fratricide and subverting ourselves was over a long time ago. Now it's too late."
On November 6th, a thread labeling Stranger Things actor Gaten Matarazzo as an "amerimutt" was submitted to /int/,[7] which included an MS Paint illustration of the actor (shown below).
Le 100% Face
Created as one of the variations of the original meme, Le 100% Face depicts a fair-skinned, blonde and blue eyed man as the representation of a 100% White person. While being featured in different memes and formats, the face itself became the avatar of the German posters on /pol/ and /int/ (shown below).
Mutt's Law
Mutt's Law is a subcategory of the Amerimutt meme that highlights and condemns anonymous American users when they talk about interracial sex, particularly when it involves black men ( as it usually comes with the uttering of the internet slang "BBC" ). Becoming a stereotype throughout 4chan and beyond, Americans' seemingly obsession with the phrase "Built for BBC" spawned a format of its own, aiming towards the shunning of their fetishization of black men (shown below).
