About
Muteba Kidiaba's Dance is a signature goal celebration associated with Congolese football player Robert Muteba Kidiab who currently plays goalkeeper for the Congolese club TP Mazembe. On December 14th, 2010, Kidiab's butt-bouncing repertoire brought him and his club team much international attention during the semi-final match of FIFA Club World Cup against the Brazilian team Sport Club Internacional. Origin
The FIFA tournament's semi-final match between Congo's TP Mazembe and Brazil's Internacional took place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on December 14th, 2010; The tournament match resulted in the Congolese' victory with 2 – 0. Upon his team scoring the second goal, TP Mazembe's goalkeeper Kidiab busted out his signature celebration in the stadium, which was caught on screen by field cameras (skip to 2:00 mark for the goal celebration).

The footage was subsequently uploaded onto YouTube and even spawned single topic blogs like Kidiaba tumblr and Kidiaba Facts, where it spun off into a series of image exploitables featuring still-shots of Kidiab performing his goal celebration and his "O-face" expression.
Tumblr blog Kidiaba reached 100 thousand visits in the 5 days it was active, with an average of 414 for each of the 241 micro-posts. The blog, run by three admen from southern Brazil, shows montages of the folkloric celebrations of the goalie from Mazembe, Robert Muteba Kidiaba, when the African soccer club won 2×0 against Internacional in the FIFA Club World 2010.
