About
Freaky ๐ , also written in script as ๐ฏ๐ป๐ฎ๐ช๐ด๐, refers to a series of Papyrus Irony memes that use the words "freak" and "freaky," originally based on a Papyrus font meme that read, "Im fr a freak Just lmk.." showing Paul the alien. Freaky memes often use the tongue emoji or show a character with a long tongue sticking out of its mouth. Most of the memes were over-edited and moldy, using various filters like Rio De Janeiro and strange fonts other than Papyrus like a copy-and-paste script font. The Hood Irony trend started on Instagram in late 2023, carrying into early 2024 as it spread to other platforms like Twitter / X. Freakbob, also known as Freakybob, a freaky version of SpongeBob, became its own variant meme of the trend.
