For $50,000 You Could Purchase One Three Minute Video or X refers to an exploitable meme that arose out of conversations surrounding YouTuber Verbales's rumored $50,000 Hazbin Hotel animated music video commission in January 2024. Jokes comparing the supposed cost of the video commission to other items that cost the same amount typically follow the phrasal template that reads, "For $50,000 you could purchase One (1) three minute video of a cartoon version of you getting seduced by a fictional character with no actual NSFW scenes or X."

In January 2024, discussions about YouTuber Verbales purportedly commissioning an animated music video (AMV) for nearly $50,000 began to spread on X / Twitter. A January 11th, 2024, video upload by X user @OOCWesternR34 gathered over 12 million views and 45,000 likes in a week (seen below).

The earliest known meme comparing the supposed cost of the AMV with other items that cost $50,000 was a January 12th, 2024, post on /r/GrimDank by Redditor /u/rodan1993.[1] The image compared the AMV to "23 Mars pattern Warlord class Titans" from the Warhammer 40K table-top RPG (notably the most expensive miniature sold). The post gathered over 10,000 upvotes in three days (seen below).

On January 13th, 2024, X[2] user @MrJmezz posted a version of the meme that compared the cost of the AMV to the cost of 40 PSA Sabres, a type of gun. The post gathered nearly 2,000 likes in three days (seen below, left). Also on January 13th, iFunny[3] user @Flygon_330 posted a version of the meme using the example of "55 1995 Holden Commodore Acclaim Station Wagons," gathering over 5,000 smiles and 200 comments in a similar timeframe (seen below, right).
On January 14th, Trixiebooru[4] user Northern Haste posted a version of the meme comparing $50,000 to 50,000 stink lizards from the show Futurama (seen below, left). On January 15th, iFunny[5] user @88mm posted a version of the meme comparing "absolutely humiliate yourself" to a "first generation WA2000." The post gathered over 9,000 smiles in a day (seen below, right).
