And how did I come to find that this was popping up on so many different sites? How did it first catch my attention?
Because of Magma.
http://www.mag.ma
Full disclosure: even though I'm Rocketboom staff, and Magma was developed by Rocketboom, this is one of those projects that I'm honored to be listed as "Staff" on the page, but I've had nothing to do with it's development. Magma is all Gleuch, Andrew, Jamie, Kenyatta and Todd. (and I think Ellie?)
Anyway, Magma has been under private beta for a while, but it just went public last night, so head over to http://www.mag.ma and sign up to be able to find the most popular videos from all over the web. It's pretty damned cool.
