Draw me (maybe furious).

A paper that has a drawing of Quote and Curly on it.

As I hold it, I want words to say "ya gotta get more cave story here m8"

Pollux: Draw Ramiel from EVA

I was tempted to do it in 3D but oh well.

Muffin: Draw all the users in the chat having an orgy.
Bob: Modify the request to hide everyone with a giant black bar.

I could make a request, but I can't really think of anything that doesn't make me seem like an egotistical prick.

So instead, I ask this:
How do you motivate yourself to draw/doodle/do the stuff with the pencil? Because I can never force myself to do anything productive, and I want to hear someone else's perspective on the matter.

I guess to put perspective onto the matter; I didn't originally draw because I had any natural born talent. I drew because I was passing notes between me and my friends. It was an activity that didn't require me to become good at it to enjoy it. But in time, I became proficient because I came to enjoy the actual act of drawing.

If you can make it past that initial wall, and draw something good, you will find you will get a lot more enjoyment out of these things.

Also it appears I have far more patience and/or tolerance for activities like these.

Just do what you find enjoyable.

Thanks for the insight.

Boredom Intermission Drawing:

What started as "I look like Bob" became "Draw some Shitty Ass Mods"

Aaaaaand the final request from Stitches Patch: "Draw No Face"

As you can see, my quality took a nosedive as time went on. If I had continued I would be drawing stick figures. So streaming is over for tonight. Thanks to the IRC who came to watch!

I just wanted to add.

A famous sketcher from my country once said "Drawing is not an inborn talent"
Everyone can learn and master in the art of drawing, IF they are willing to dedicate themselves to the arts and has the patients for it.
So really, you must be willing to work hard to draw good and get better at it.

Hi. . . I-I'm here for umm, th-the drawing requests? Is this the right. . . Oh "Natsuru's Drawing Thread", didn't see that there, haha. Well, umm, cou-could you please draw for a mere pleb l-like me, I don't wanna put you out or anything! Jus-Just a little sketch-up of me and my KYM buddies, not much, really. Take you time, I-I'll just sit here, waiting patiently. . .

Sorry for not posting much as of late. I have had a case of artists block and a few somewhat major things happen in my personal life. I attempted to ease the block earlier but understandably it's the middle of the night and I ran out of steam pretty quickly:

I'll try to do requests tomorrow if something doesn't come up.

I've really got to apologize for not keeping up with this thread. This whole summer I have hit a rather major Artists Block and have been trying to get over it for for The Greato's Calender.

Actually have some previews for that.

Rough Lineart and Painted Beginings.

So actually, after I get the painting done I'm going to attempt to return to my normal at least weekly routine of artist livestreams. (For reals this time. And I will try to incorporate it into my scheduel.)

But I have a question. Would you all be interested in me pursuing a long-term project of some kind?

It's not often I do a long term project, however I have a very short term mindset and perhaps need a rewarding exercise for myself to help me get ready for an industry that focuses primarily on multi-year projects.

The project itself will be KYM Related in some way. And additionally, the project may be collaborative depending on what kind of final result people want. So just running down the list…

  • A Choose Your Own Adventure Comic in vein of Homestuck. I will not be continueing the misadventures of Collin so it will be a completely new scenario and story. Naturally, this will have the most User Input.
  • A Comic Book. I do not know of what yet, but I will likely take Cameo Requests early on and use you as blatant cannon fodder.
  • A Video Game. Actually, I have this started and have permissions from the final boss duo to use them. This would be more of a collaborative project and I would need help. Just bear in mind helping out would not secure you a place in the main game itself, but rather an Extra Stage once the rest of the game was done. ("Oh look, it's that LOSER who tried to make the RPG trying to make a comeback." Erm… yeah. Really, the game will actually be rather linear and level based more like a Castlevania game rather than a big open world JRPG that would take forever to make)
  • Another KYM Cartoon. Actually, I'm specifically inclined to make an FOE parody using KYM Users. Sorry but complex animations are really out of my league.
  • The Karma Sutra. Actually this one might be a bit short but the end result would be rather fun.
  • Something Else??

Or if you are not interested, just say so and I will go back to doing Request Livestreams. Regardless I will keep to a schedule namely so it won't conflict with School. I will also livestream my schoolwork like I did last semester since people actually seemed interested in that.

I think a long term project is a great idea. If that's something you really wanna do then go for it. It'd be interesting to see. I don't know which project I want to see you to do more since most of them seem like good ideas.

Disturbed BunnyGirl for Disturbed

And that is it for the Livestream. Thanks to all for coming!

One More Thing.

Streaming will work a bit like this.

For 4-6 Hours, I will be streaming on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Starting at 2-4 PM Pacific time.

Monday and Wednesday you will get art simmilar to the ones I made today. But on Friday… I will be willing to take the previous weeks art and Color it. The end result will look something like this:

Though one image may take the full friday to color, so we'll see.

In a single livestream, we made Natsuru double the amount of dicks she ever drew. We made her draw 2 dicks, generating a total of 4 dicks drawn.

Lolita Girl for Artyom

I don't do lolita all the time because of how intricate it usually is, but it's gotten easier.

Also, it looks a bit like Muumi.

Disturbed: "Make mine bigger!"

Zar: "No Make Mine Bigger!"
Makes both of them huge

Noon: "Put Somebody In There!"

"Now Break Their Spines with them being so big!"

Then one more request from Falcon. Some Killer 7 Character pointing his gun at somebody.

Stream is over. Thanks to everyone who came to watch!

Next Stream on Friday. It will be the Coloring Day.
