What is this color you speak of? Are they serving that for desert?

Mother has a very nice figure indeed. It's the figure that brought him to life. Perhaps someday he will find a girl his age with a similar one.

Against Collin's better judgement, he decides to take a visit to his Older Sister's room.

Nothing left here but a locked chest and a rolled up sleeping mat. A window overlooking the back yard is also here.

Collin recalls that the last time he was in here he was smacked rather hard upside the head with a spear end. Ever since that fateful day he has been hearing a bunch of voices arguing in his head about how he should go about his life.

Collin checks the Sleeping Mat. It's essentially a Futon Mattress with a stiff straw backing to make rolling it up easier, very comfortable to sleep in, though you have no way of putting this in your inventory and it's pillow and blanket are locked inside the chest.

On the topic of the chest, it is locked tight, and the key is hundreds of miles away with your sister, wherever she may be. A hairpin would be able to pick the lock, but you literally breath in the irony of all the lockpicks locked inside the chest. However, other forceful ways of breaking something like this open exist…

Taking a peek into the backyard, Collin sees his father setting up plates and another man setting up the spiritual passing stage. It's hard to get a good look from up here.

Collin returns to his room to recheck his belongings. Perhaps there is something in here he can use to break his sisters lock? If not he can try looking someplace else.

Dagger added to the inventory. Seems last years birthday present will be useful after all!

Collin returns to his sisters room and uses the dagger to mess with the lock. In a stroke of luck he manages to unlock it without damaging it too much.

He takes a look into his sisters chest. The Pillow and Blanket are missing from it, which is rather odd, but he doesn't bother to question it.

After some thought, he decides to take half the hairpins and the Red Potion, as they will have a more immediate use.

Against the rules, Collin decides to take a trip into the back yard to ask dad a few things.

"Hey dad! You almost finished setting up?"
"Yes, but didn't mother tell you to stay inside?"
"Yeah, I just thought since you looked done though the window…"
"Ah, I see. Anyways, you better get out of here before your mother sees you."
"Oh, dad. Before that I was wondering what the ceremony is going to be like?"
"Well, first we have dinner, then you are set up on that stage and are granted your spiritual freedom. You shouldn't have too much trouble with that trial, but it will give you a taste of what is to come."
"Oh right, trial of the soul or whatever."
"After you awaken from that, it's dessert and alcohol time! Though don't get too hung over you hear me?"
"Don't worry, I won't!"

As you talked you secretly added the dish to the inventory.

Collin manages to successfully escape to his room, taking a final moment to think though his childhood and the future that lies ahead.

"My mind is so clouded… opening up my eyes to peer though this mess is difficult, how will I ever be able to see when they put me into the trance…"

"Thus far all I could think about this evening was ways I could get away with jacking off while in women's clothes or killing my father in cold blood… I even stole a dish for no good reason. Will this make the journey ahead more difficult? I get the monk to send me inside my head this time alone, but the other times I need to find a partner to go in with me… Who Would I Trust Enough To Pick!?!"

Collin suddenly snaps to attention when he hears voices coming from the backyard.

~I am ready to face my fears.
~I might need to re-equipt myself real quick…

Sorry for my extended delays. I am working behind the scenes a bit trying to boost my skills before jumping back in. Hopefully future requests and story panels can be more dynamic because of it.

Just as a quick question; it's clear that what I have been doing has gotten a bit same-old-same-old. So, what direction would you guys like me to go in this thread?

Was called into work before I managed to finish, but I finished the inking off screen.

If you aren't in here, I ran out of room and/or foresaw my concentration running dry before I could finish.
