If cheats are used to access it and touch a certain point on it, a clone of Donkey Kong will appear in the middle of the house. The clone remains motionless and only blinks. Details in image. While the deck in front of the house has collision and can be walked on, the way there is normally blocked by walls and a loading zone leading outside, so that it cannot be accessed. Player-controlled DK The deck holds a unique feature. There is a spot, marked with an X in the above image, that if touched, makes a motionless Donkey Kong appear in the middle of the house. Since the deck is not normally accessible, cheats or glitches must be used to touch it. Motionless DK clone The clone has no interactions or collision, all it does is blink at regular intervals. Supper Mario Broth @MarioBrothBlog Old arcade games often had "kill screens" that ended the game due to a glitch. The kill screen in Donkey Kong Jr. is on Level 22. The time calculation in Level F overflows the timer so it results in a time limit that is too small to reach the goal. DK Jr. can not get very far before dying like this. Curiously, the exact same glitch also made Level 22 in the Donkey Kong arcade a kill screen.

In DKC2, a Klobber enemy that is dropped into lava does not actually die. Instead, it is teleported so far up that it takes 3 minutes for it to fall down. If the player waits in that spot for 3 minutes, the Klobber will fall down from the sky.

In Donkey Kong Country, if a Kong throws a DK Barrel, but the level is exited before it hits the ground, then the next time that Kong is hit by an enemy, instead of dying, he will simply freeze in place with a shocked expression forever.
