"Who Can It Be Now?" Osaka refers to a series of videos and fan art that show Azumanga Daioh character Ayumu 'Osaka' Kasuga dancing and playing the saxophone with the song "Who Can It Be Now?" by Men at Work. The videos were posted on Instagram and TikTok in early 2024, predominantly made in Roblox.
Origin
On January 17th, 2024, Instagram[1] user @osaka_azumanger posted a video that showed an Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga avatar in Roblox dancing to Men at Work's "Who Can It Be Now?" gaining over 38,200 views and 4,300 likes in 18 days (shown below). The Reel is currently the first known upload of the video.
Spread
On January 18th, 2024, the video was reposted by TikToker[2] @azusatwo, gaining over 931,200 plays and 185,200 likes in 17 days. On January 21st, the video was reposted by Twitter / X[3] user @nuelkhalis, gaining over 1,000 likes in two weeks. On January 22nd, it was reposted by TikToker[4] @akechil0ver, gaining over 1.4 million plays and 329,100 likes in 13 days.
As the video gained cross-platform spread, internet users began making content about it, such as TikToker[5] @internetprince.55 on January 24th, 2024, who dueted the video, showing herself dancing with and cosplaying as Osaka. The duet received over 982,000 plays and 220,700 likes in 11 days (shown below, left).
On January 29th, 2024, TikToker[6] @umeology2.0 posted a recreation of the video in Roblox, receiving roughly 1.3 million plays and 244,000 likes in six days (shown below, right).

TikToker[8] @dollhive posted similar fan art on February 3rd, 2024, gaining roughly 16,300 plays and 3,100 likes in a day (shown below, right).
