About

Watch Me Swooce Right In! is a popular scene and catchphrase from the YouTube Poop series The Misadventures of Skooks by OrpheusFTW. The scene has seen several redraws, video remixes, and animated gifs using the catchphrase as the caption.

Origin

The scene first appeared in Part 2 of The Misadventures of Skooks, which was uploaded to YouTube[1] by OrpheusFTW on August 15th, 2011. In the scene (shown below), shaggy is standing atop a ladder as he says "Watch me swooce right in!" before he quickly slips into a narrow hole in the wall. The scene also coined the word "swooce"[2] to the point of becoming widely used outside of its original context.

Spread

Parodies of the scene began appearing regularly in the mid-2010s. On January 23rd, 2015, YouTuber Numberer1 set a 3D animation to the audio, gaining over 65,000 views (shown below, left). On July 11th, 2015, YouTuber James Tech posted a video titled "MAXIMUM SWOOCE.mp4" which extended the "Swooce" moment, gaining over 56,000 views (shown below, left).

One popular offshoot of the meme involved pairing the audio with clips from video games. For example, on May 10th, 2015, YouTuber KCD posted a clip using the audio with a clip of Captain Falcon in Super Smash Brothers, gaining over 12,000 views (shown below, left). On May 15th, 2016, YouTuber NotChris posted a Minecraft animation using the audio, gaining over 2,800 views (shown below, right).
