On November 16th, 2017, the Sprite YouTube channel uploaded a Christmas-themed animated advertisement for their Sprite Cranberry drink, featuring LeBron James providing a family with the soft drink during the holiday. Before being taken down, the video gained over 1.9 million views and 720 comments. (Reupload shown below)

On November 21st, 2017, YouTuber The Good Morty uploaded an "Ear Rape" version of the commercial (shown below).
On December 9th, 2017, Twitter user @YaBoyGodot[2] submitted a screenshot from the commercial along with the caption "viciously breaks into your house Wanna Sprite cranberry" (shown below).
On December 17th, Instagram user @broucoffle[1] posted a screenshot from the commercial with glowing eyes edited on to LeBron with the caption "Dear Sprite, We would deeply appreciate it if you release a full Sprite Cranberry song. Thank you" (shown below, left). The following day, Redditor Sloppyjoegillis[3] submitted a photoshopped image featuring two kids holding a sign captioned with the YouTube title "Kids Describe God to an Illustrator" (shown below, right).
That day, a screencap from the commercial along with the message "Wanna Sprite Cranberry" was submitted to the /ck/ (food & cooking) board on 4chan (shown below).
