History

Dress To Impress^[1] was released on the Roblox platform on November 11th, 2023. The game encourages players to express themselves and compete with others to see who is more creative and inventive by creating unique fashion clothes. The game also features a series of modeling poses that your character can reproduce on the runway to achieve more points and climb through the ranks from "New Model" to "Top Model."

On June 21st, 2024, YouTube^[2] user @HEATHERSWINFOREVER posted a fanmade Dress To Impress trailer, explaining the game's features and gameplay (shown below), which amassed roughly 41 views and 2 likes in two weeks.

The game was first noticed by the Brazilian community in November 2023, as the Brazilian YouTuber^[3] @SarinhaPlayGames posted one of the earliest viral mentions of Dress To Impress (seen below, left) which amassed more than 95,000 views and 3,900 likes in almost a year. The game continued to grow its audience going into 2024, as YouTuber^[4] @LexziBLOX posted a Shorts in which she tried to copy other players' outfits to win the competitions (seen below, right), which amassed roughly 3.8 million views and 146,000 likes in three months.
