Chrono Trigger

The game's story follows a group of adventurers who travel through time to prevent a global catastrophe. Manga artist Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball) designed the characters for the game as well.

Fangames
Two fangames have been in development at some point, the first being Chrono Resurrection, which was meant to be a 3D remake of the first game, however, Square Enix issued a cease and desist two months before the game's release, [4] the second game, Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes was an unofficial installement in the series, a hacked ROM version of the first SNES game, it started development in 2004 and in mid 2009, nearing it's completion the development team, dubbed Kajar Laboratories, received a cease-and-desist letter from Square Enix [5] ordering the team to stop development and cancel all ROM hacking activities, with 98% of the game completed. The game reportedly totaled around 35 hours of play time, and had ten alternate endings.
