Pylo (the Pylon)

Pylo the pylon was, as his name indicates, a lowly pylon that had one purpose in it's life, to hold keep near a Xel'naga tower. Until, the unthinkable happened, Pylo the pylon was mercilessly destroyed by the overwhelming Terran force. Naturally the populace of subscribers to HuskyStarcraft were saddened by their loss. And thusly, they begun to make memorials.

Origin

HuskyStarcraft is a zealous commentator for the game Starcraft 2. Over the time he has been casting he has several notable quotes, i.e: "Don't the mutalisks look like flying t-rexes? I dunno, that's just one of those things, you can't unsee" or "Thor is here!" Though many of his sayings can be meme-worthy, the death of Pylo the pylon takes the cake.

The reason the response to pylo's death was so large, was due to HuskyStarcraft's attribution of a name to the pylon. It is arguable that no one would care about Pylo if he remained unnamed.
