About
Oneshotted By A 6D Mesoamerican Ayahuasca Demon, also sometimes used as 5D Ayahuasca Demon, is a catchphrase popularized by X / Twitter user @LandsharkRides. The user made a series of remarks about the psychedelic drug ayahuasca on a March 2023 post, saying that "turbonormies" take the drug to cure their "internalized racism," only to get "oneshotted" and have their brains "gigafried" by "some Mesoamerican 6D demon who makes them quit their email job." The idea put forth by @LandsharkRides has since been used in memes about tech CEOs and their tendency to drastically change their life after an experience with ayahuasca.
Origin
On March 6th, 2023, X[1] user @LandsharkRides posted a series of tweets about "turbonormies" taking drugs as powerful as ayahuasca and being completely unprepared for its impact.
The tweets are transcribed below:
"Ayahuasca" is insane because it appears to be one of the most legitimately dangerous drugs with the potential to gigafry your brain but is exclusively taken by literal turbonormies who unironically want to like "heal internalized racism trauma" and basically get oneshotted by it.
Literally the most spiritually inept people in existence having their little lib brains rearranged by some Mesoamerican 6D demon who makes them quit their email job, divorce their bf/gf, and become a traveling circus stripper or whatever

On April 26th, 2024, X[3] user @NEETWorldOrder reposted the thumbnail alongside a caption that read, "This guy is going to take ayahuasca, get his amygdala one-shot by an Aztec corn demon, and come back in a few months to make even worse podcasts." On October 5th, 2024, X[8] user @PYeerk tweeted, "Yeah, you hear of normies taking ayahuasca and getting oneshotted by the 5D ayahuasca demon but sometimes I'll meet an ordinary person driven to what appears to be near schizophrenia simply by coming into contact with Marcus Aurealius' Meditations." The post gathered over 3,000 likes in two months.
