Morning Flower, also known as the Samsung Alarm, is a ringtone for Samsung phones that has been used in memes and remixes, often from people expressing they've had enough of hearing it as an alarm.
Origin
On May 28th, 2013, YouTube[1] user hansgamemaster uploaded the earliest known video showcasing the ringtone. It received more than 2.8 million views in ten years (shown below).
Spread
The ringtone began being used in memes starting in 2018. For example, on December 12th, 2018, Facebook[2] page "The Meme Book" uploaded a Dancing Lizard edit by adding the ringtone. The video received more than 6,400 reactions and 7,100 shares in four years (shown below).
On January 25th, 2020, YouTube[3] user Krawok Atzmon uploaded an edit using a Frozen clip that received more than 390,000 views in two years (shown below, left). On November 4th, 2021, YouTube[4] user Darwin uploaded a Brazil Dog Dance edit that received more than 282,000 views in a year (shown below, right).
On October 11th, 2020, YouTube[5] user FranciscoTheBlueBoy2K9 uploaded a Bart's Testing Megaphones edit that received more than 1.1 million views in two years (shown below, left). On October 10th, 2021, YouTube[6] user SparklyTR uploaded an Ear Rape version of the ringtone that received more than 435,000 views in one year (shown below, right).
