About
Minecraft Truman Show, also known as Do You Think They Know? or Do You Think He Knows? refers to a trend of Minecraft players recreating the setting of the 1998 film The Truman Show (starring Jim Carrey) with Minecraft villagers. The players make a village underground or in a dome resembling the stadium-sized dome shown in The Truman Show. The TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels following the trend originally surfaced in mid-2024. The creators often added a text caption reading, "Do you think they know?" to emphasize the absurdity of their task as well as the stupidity of the NPC villagers.
