Kazuma's "Square TF Up, Thots" refers to a two-panel image featuring the characters of anime series KonoSuba, captioned with the phrase "Square tf up, THOTS." Starting in June 2019, the image has been circulated as an object-labeling meme format, usually used in reference to various confrontations.

Origin

On March 9th, 2016, episode nine "God's Blessing On This Wonderful Shop!" of anime series KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! premiered in Japan.^[1] In one scene of the episode, characters Aqua, Darkness and Megumin prepare to confront character Satou Kazuma, who is protecting a succubus.

On June 3rd, 2017, Redditor Derpachus posted a deep fried two-panel image based on the scene, captioned "Square tf up, THOTS," to /r/animemes subreddit (shown below, left).^[2] The post gained over 450 upvotes in six months. On August 13th, 2017, Redditor neuroso posted a non-fried version of the image created by an unknown author (shown below, right).^[3]

On June 5th, 2019, Redditor Dv_sense posted a meme based on the image to /r/animemes^[4] and /r/dankmemes^[5] subreddits, gaining over 23,200 and 15,100 upvotes respectively. Later that day Redditor mokaroni posted a higher-quality version of the template.^[6]
