Jim Carrey Turning Into The Grinch is an image macro series featuring an interview with actor Jim Carrey contorting his face as he did for his performance in the film The Grinch.
Origin
On January 28th, 2020, the YouTube account for the movie review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes posted an interview with Jim Carrey about his role in the film Sonic the Hedgehog. During the interview, Carrey tells a story about meeting a girl who knew him as the Grinch. He then contorts his face to perform the character for her. The post received more than 915,000 views in less than one month (shown below).

Several days later, on February 2nd, 2020, Redditor [1] Turnburke shared a screenshot of Carrey from the interview. The post received more than 1,300 points (95% upvoted) in less than one month (shown below, left).
Two days later, Redditor[2] Pa1indr0me posted a GIF of the moment, which received more than 106 points (81% upvoted) in less than one month (shown below, right).
About one week later, Twitter account @CultureCrave shared a video of the interview. The post recieved more than 12 million views, 568,000 likes and 118,000 retweets in less than one month (shown below).

On February 18th, Redditor[3] Nafas94 shared a Drakeposting variation of the image, which received more than 44,000 points (97% upvoted) and 175 comments in less than one week (shown below).
