I'm Not Calling You "Good Boy" is a redraw trend popular on Twitter / X that began in mid-July of 2024. The redraw replaces characters from a work of Delicious in Dungeon fan art with different characters and scenarios.

Origin

On July 17th, 2024, Twitter / X artist sweepswoop_[1] posted fan art of Delicious In Dungeon characters Laios Touden and Kabru, with Laios staring at Kabru while blushing and Kabru angrily replying back, "I'm not calling you "Good Boy", Laios, that last meeting was shit!". The fan art (shown below) received over 165,000 likes and 30,000 reposts in six days.

On July 19th, 2024, Twitter / X artist hypotebug[2] posted a redraw with Disco Elysium characters Harry Du Bois and Kim Kitsuragi. The redraw (shown below, left) received over 19,000 likes and over 3,200 reposts in four days. On July 20th, 2024, Twitter / X artist sinopiyum[3] posted a redraw with Team Fortress 2 characters Medic and Engineer. The redraw (shown below, right) received over 25,000 likes and over 3,100 reposts in three days.

Later on that same day, animator SilentManJoe[4] recreated sinopiyum's redrawn scene using Blender and posted it to his Twitter / X account where it received over 54,000 likes and over 9,000 reposts in three days. The animation (shown below) was also reposted to his YouTube[5] account on July 21st, 2024 where it received over 94,000 views in two days.

On July 20th, 2024, Twitter / X artist Jamwes_art[6] posted a redraw using Hololive VTubers Koseki Bijou and Hakos Baelz. The redraw (shown below, left) received over 11,000 likes and over 1,500 reposts in three days. On July 21st, 2024, Twitter / X artist Boffix_[7] posted a redraw using Splatoon 3 characters Big Man, Frye, and Shiver. The redraw (shown below, right) received over 17,000 views and over 2,400 reposts in two days.

On July 21st, 2024, Twitter / X artist CBruh2348[8] posted a redraw using Sonic the Hedgehog characters Rouge and Knuckles. The redraw (shown below, left) received over 44,000 likes and over 6,200 reposts in two days. On July 22nd, 2024, Twitter / X artist MuzCrocosaur,[9] also known as MuzYoshi, posted a redraw using Super Mario characters Bowser Jr. and Bowser, except with Bowser actually praising his son. The redraw (shown below, right) received over 27,000 likes and over 4,800 reposts in one day.
