Goku stands in the background, looking upward with his mouth open and his tongue out, collecting the rain on his tongue. The post garnered over 25,000 likes and 4,500 reposts in a year.

On October 22nd, 2024, X^[2] user @BFrog__ posted a redraw of the meme, garnering over 200,000 likes and 19,000 reposts in a week.

Spread

The post by @BFrog__ inspired numerous redraws over the following days, largely on X and Tumblr. It also drove traffic to the original post by @diz_korall_DB, with numerous redraws being posted as quote-retweets to both posts. For example, on October 24th, 2024, X^[3] user @Nsomiy23 posted an Over the Garden Wall redraw that gained over 47,000 likes in six days.
