About

Fent Fold, also known as Fenty Fold Trend or Fentanyl Nod, refers to a TikTok trend based on the Nodding reaction to sedatives like fentanyl, which causes a user go from alert a deep sleep that they cannot be forced to wake up, often appearing like their asleep while standing up. The trend gained traction on TikTok in early May 2024, featuring people reenacting the tweaking and trance-like behavior of addicts under the influence of opioids, which also sparked backlash for mocking drug addiction.
