Every Country's Miku refers to a series of fan art that imagines vocaloid character Hatsune Miku as a native of various countries and places, with Miku usually dressed in national clothing and holding various objects associated with the country's culture. Spawned by the Brazilian Miku meme, the fan art trend achieved virality on X / Twitter in late August 2024.
Origin
Every Country's Miku fan art trend is a development of the earlier Brazilian Miku art trend that involved artists imagining vocaloid character Hatsune Miku as Brazilian.
The trend was launched by an June 25th, 2024, artwork by X[1] user @ErinArtista, and achieved virality after artist Doodly (@thecat_mitsu) posted an artwork of Brazilian Miku on August 17th inspired by it (shown below), which accumulated over 2.9 million views, 24,000 reposts and 161,000 likes on X[2] / Twitter in five days.
In the following days, more artists on X posted fan art inspired by the TikTok video and @thecat_mitsu's artwork.
On August 21st, 2024, artist and X user @M3ruMeru posted the earliest found artwork that deviated from the trend by depicting Miku as a national of another country, Argentina. The artwork (shown below) received over 3,000 reposts and 19,000 likes on X[3] in five days.

In the following week, multiple artists on X / Twitter posted artworks that imagined Hatsune Miku as a citizen of various countries and places, often depicting her wearing traditional clothing from those locales.
For example, on August 22nd, 2024, X[4] user @elshovanni posted an artwork imagining Hatsune Miku as Mexican, which garnered over 400,000 views, 7,000 reposts and 39,000 likes in four days (shown below).
On August 24th, X[5] user @Uirusu_chan posted a Vietnamese version of the character that received over 11,000 reposts and 69,000 likes in two days (shown below).
The trend maintained viral popularity on the platform through late August 2024, with multiple artists posting versions of the character from various countries.
