Donald Trump Please Save Us or Praying To Trump Livestream Arrest refers to a 2020 Instagram livestream of a former United States President Donald Trump supporter in which he says the memorable line "Donald Trump if you can hear us, please save me" while being inside a car as police officers are asking him to step out of the vehicle. The livestream became a prevalent exploitable and reaction video on Twitter / X, Instagram and TikTok during the early 2020s. His quote also became a catchphrase online.

Origin

On September 6th, 2019, YouTuber^[1] DiamondHillFarm posted the complete Instagram livestream of the man identified as Winston Caves being arrested (shown below), which garnered over 29,000 views and 334 likes in four years.

On October 9th, 2019, Instagram^[2] user @dramacityhiphop posted a clip of the arrest showing the moment Caves' prayed for Donald Trump to save him from being arrested. The video (shown below) amassed 25 likes in four years.

Caves' livestream resurfaced in 2020 as an ironic reaction video on X and TikTok, with users adding overlay texts to express their feelings when something bad is about to happen via video and GIF caption memes. For example, on October 23rd, 2020, X^[3] user @davenewworld_2 used the video to represent Trump supporters reacting to Joe Biden's speech. The video (shown below) garnered more than 630 likes and 180 retweets in three years.

On September 20th, 2023, X^[4] user @OvOBrezzzy posted Caves' livestream as a reaction video about being worried about the latest Jujutsu Kaisen manga series spoilers. The tweet (shown below) amassed over 93,000 likes and 8,9000 retweets in a week.

The viral clip was also paired with overlay text jokes and POV memes on TikTok in September 2023. For example, on September 21st, 2023, TikToker^[5] @klmilly0 posted the livestream paired with the overlay text "When it smells so bad in the hallway I think I'm gonna pass out." The post (shown below, left) received over 2 million plays and 760,000 likes in a week. On September 13th, TikToker^[6] @irenevoodoo posted the video with the overlay text "Sydney Sweeney after losing 2 Emmys," which garnered more than 379,000 plays and 71,000 likes in a year (shown below, right).
