About

Clinton Body Count, also known as Clinton Body Bags, refers to a conspiracy theory that Bill and Hillary Clinton ordered the assassinations of numerous political enemies and eyewitnesses to secure power and protect themselves from legal prosecution. After officials announced that accused sex trafficker and wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide by hanging himself in his jail cell in August 2019, the hashtag #ClintonBodyCount began trending on Twitter among those who speculated about the Clintons' involvement in his death.

Origin

According to Conservapedia,[1] the Clinton Body Count theories began in 1987 among those who speculated that the Clintons were involved in the double homicide of Kevin Ives and Don Henry, followed by the "violent deaths of seven witnesses or suspects in the investigation." According to Rational Wiki,[2] the theory originated with a list titled "The Clinton Body Count: Coincidence or the Kiss of Death"[3] by Linda Thompson.

Spread

On November 18th, 2014, the Uncovered YouTube channel uploaded a video titled "The Clinton Body Count Conspiracy," which discussed the conspiracy theory (shown below). Within five years, the video accumulated upwards of 1.6 million views and 4,300 comments.
