So... About this vaping epidemic...

I don't know if this is the right place to talk about politics, but hear me out.

Vaping is considered safer than smoking. It actually saves millions of smokers everyday due to how harmless it is. However, six deaths involving vaping struck the U.S., and the government decides to ban it entirely. Why? After how many countless deaths involving smoking?

And it doesn't even help that they don't research how these deaths happened thanks to shit they bought from the black market. They decide to cover all that up and admit you're "4x more likely to smoke cigarettes" when you vape.

The truth is right in front of them and they refuse to believe it after so many riots breaking out about how vaping saves lives. They don't even try to give any further research outside of nicotine withdrawals and instead try to scare us away in the most obnoxious tactics possible. Now everyone's TVs are rigged with horn-blaring Muppet knock-offs from Truth and disgusting ASMRs alongside paid actors from The Real Cost.

Is anybody tired of these companies owned by Big Tobbaco trying to get a buck through people going back to smoking or is it just me?

We get it, you vape. Quit making a new thread about it every few weeks.

No, I don't vape. And it has been months ever since I made a post about this. But I'm just trying to get these companies off my back. Off our backs. I'm just doing my part.

Mate, it doesn't matter if you made this post a week after your previous Vaping-ads-are-annoying-because thread, or 4 months later.

No one likes when someone tries to bring up old topics because they want to keep talking about it even though everyone else stopped talking about it.
Trying to force a conversation around a topic people don't care anymore about is not gonna get anyone to care again just cause you bring it back up.

If anything it just shows you're fixated on a singular topic, and would rather keep going back to it rather than talk about anything else.

But why is it whenever I talk about important issues, everyone seems to criticize me for it? This topic is rather important because of what the government is trying to do. If nobody can force them to see the truth, it wouldn't be long before they take control of our lives. The best we should do is fight back and show them that vaping saves lives. We're doing this because they don't want to listen, and they're harming the ecosystem more by taking away one of the many things that actually helps people.

And there are far more casualties involving drinking and accidents. Why not focus on those things instead of a simple nicotine withdrawal?
