Obviously women’s rights in the third world is still an issue.

A movement that has achieved most of its political goals still has to defend its accomplishments. As long as issues like abortion continue to be contentious feminism isn't going to recede.

I think the big problem western feminism has is they're fighting the current issues (workplace politics/culture, pop culture portrayals, etc.) as though they hold the same level of severity as previous issues (suffrage, marriage rape, etc.) did. There's not really been an acceptance that things have greatly improved and modern issues are less severe--especially in light of the struggles going on elsewhere in the world.

As to the question, I don't think you're ever going to see an ideology fully die. Feminism itself has had three "versions" so far and I'm sure a fourth will eventually come along, perhaps to help shift focus and purpose, perhaps to only continue the downward trend. Point is, I doubt it's going anywhere anytime soon.

I would say it's one of those things that will always be necessary to have around. Much like racism, as long as someone treats another person like crap because they are different (gender, race, political party, etc) we need a group willing to defend them.

However that is it. We need to tackle actual issues, not "micro-agressions" and "manspreading." I don't think that we should completely get rid of feminism, but I do think that they need to take a really hard look at what some of their supporters are doing. They also need to stop spreading lies like the wage-gap.

The biggest problem I have with Feminism in the 1st world is the whole organization is being hijacked by Liberal Identitarians (Sjw's) and use said organization to achieve their own selfish and moralistic needs while simultaneously ignoring issues regarding women rights in the 2nd and 3rd World or finding a convenient scapegoat for said issue (usually made up issues) instead of fixing the actual problem
