Alex Mahan who once begged for a gf on a generic online forum, has been in drama with Mike Z the creator of Skullgirls for not liking his prototype Lunar Scythe almost half a decade ago, stole assets from some Deviant Artist, heavy procrastinator, shill, accused of being a pedo (which he later debunked it on a Tumblr Post) etc. etc. etc. etc.

Ehhh… I don't think there's enough red pills to swallow from what YanDev is shitting out of his ass. Honestly, I'm pretty neutral with him, and furthermore I'm sort of aware of the dramas he's been into for awhile. Even though he tried to explain these "misunderstandings", it doesn't seem to be enough to convinced enough people. So, I decided to make this post to learn your opinions on Yandere Dev.

Edit: In addition, is there a way to atone more for his mistakes as a way to minimized the hate?

Absolutely no idea who he is, other than I guess he makes Yandere Simulator?

He's an okay guy, just a little misguided at times and actually quite emotional past his eternally calm voice.

It's actually quite hilarious to hear him freak out and get angry at video games he plays on twitch.

I've heard about his new oases troubles before, but apparently people said he's changed and cleaned up his act a bit. I watched his P5 stream a few days ago and he was actually pretty fun to watch. I just hope he doesn't end up stirring controversy and ruin the game because of it (like some big indie titles in the past)

Whatever dumb shits he did in the past, I'm sure he already moved on and get better from it. No bother bringing up irrelevant past again. He seems fine now.

The only thing I care about him is that he could finish the game as soon as possible and more polished ever since he collaborates with tinybuild, and doesn't get too pressured by the development.

He seems like a decent enough guy that's trying to put his past behind him and repair his reputation. As for Yandere Simulator, I hope his partnership with Tinybuild will be prosperous and productive. It's caught my interest for the past few months.

Well, I hope this relationship will turn out well if he doesn't do something really stupid or else his reputation will be ruined forever just as Phil Fish. Furthermore, I could imagine his Youtube Channel may lose probably more than 50-100k subs. It be a total disaster!

Anyways, I doubt he's an angel[I think he is somewhat of a neckbeard] and frankly I don't give a rat's ass about his game, I think most of the hatred towards him and his game is mainly just reactionaries being reactionaries, he's mostly hated for the same reason some people hate John Romero[though, he's no where near talented, this is just a comparison]. They hate him because they are frankly misinformed about his game and dismiss it as some sort of "Evil Satanic Weeaboo Pedophile Murder Simulator Game that is bad and shit".

Also, Continuing on, mainly the 'pedophile' thing, let's not kid ourselves, Pedophilia is bad, that's undenyable, but frankly it's so easy to accuse & Slander people as Pedos that it's hilarious. accusations about a guy being a pedophile should be taken about as seriously in news about accusations about people being racist these days.

Yes, both are legitimate issues, and yes, there is a chance that the person MIGHT be one of either, but it's created such a major 'boy who cried wolf' effect for me that When I hear accusations about someone being called a Pedophile or a Racist[unless it's absurdly blatant] I tend to be skeptical.
