I'm sure someone has already done this, but I would like to get an idea of which candidate KYM is more supportive of.
So, who should be President? Hillary? Trump? Or someone else?

In this day and age more than any other time, I feel like a president with a strong plan for combating terrorism is key. I'm a bit fixated on that issue with acts of terror becoming too common, so that is why Trump has my vote.
I just can't bring myself to care anymore. Clinton and Trump are just both so awful in such vastly different ways. If Clinton wins we'll be looking at a future with a deeply corrupt president who will certainly push the TPP through, while if Trump wins we'll have a fanatical demagogue as our leader.
I don't know if I'll vote Sanders or libertarian, or just not vote at all, but I'm not voting for either of those two. I have standards.

I'm not sure you'll be able to vote for Sanders, as he has endorsed Clinton, so he's not likely to run on an independent ticket. If you want to vote for someone other than libertarian, you'd shoot for Stein on the Green ticket.
I don't think I can vote here.
I'm stuck between Johnson and Hillary myself.
On one hand, I am thoroughly convinced Hillary is a Machiavellian criminal who is interested primarily in furthering her own power. I agree with the FBI director in that she is, at the very least, extremely careless.
Despite this, Trump is really bad IMO. He would be a diplomatic disaster. If you have to constantly go "oh he was clarifying" or "oh that's not what he REALLY meant", you've got the wrong guy when it comes to diplomacy.
He doesn't seem to have a super well thought out plan for fighting terrorists. Just "we gotta be tough." Maybe I haven't heard it yet, but repeating "we gotta be tough, we gotta be smart, we gotta be unpredictable" is something a ten year old could do. I would not put a ten year old in charge of the U.S. military as its commander-in-chief.
His social views are a huge no-no. His lack of support for the LGBT community is not surprising but still extremely worrying, especially given that several of his judge choices for the supreme court were anti-lgbt. If he was to be president, Obergefell could legitimately be overturned.
So that's the (short version of my) case for Clinton.
On the other hand. Johnson really leans heavily towards my current idea of an "ideal" government. The quick description would be a "light hand", controlling morals and economy – a lighter hand than we have now. Because of this, I support his approval for LGBT rights, non-discrimination measures, limited government interference in business, etc.
Barring a history-making event, Clinton or Trump is gonna be our next president. If we are voting based on ideals, I would argue for Johnson. He's the biggest candidate that's the closest to my views. But the idea of the votes for Johnson making Trump win – well, that'd certainly make me regret supporting Johnson. Clinton is bad, but she's less likely make my life hell for decades to come, due to her supreme court nominations.
Again, take a look at the supreme court. We've probably got at least one nomination the next president will get to pick. It's highly likely they'll get to pick multiple nominees. The ones that go through will, most likely, be in power for many years, far longer than the president will.
For once, the supreme court might be more important in a presidential election than the president.
I'd vote Clinton to preserve the decent if fragile progress Obama has made and to prevent Trump from making a royal mess of the country…
If I were able to vote…
Either Jill Stein or Gary Johnson.
Those that are going to vote Trump will vote Trump no matter what
Those that are going to vote Hillary will vote Hillary no matter what
and at that, it would be a close race
It's the undecided vote and the Bernie supporters that may make the difference.
Even if all the undecided and Bernie supporters vote a 3rd party it would still be a toss up between Trump and Hillary but if they combine with Hillary at least Trump will lose.

You can vote for anyone if you write it in, and it'll be as valid a vote as anyone's. In theory, you can even vote for someone who doesn't meet the official Presidential eligibility requirements. I have no idea what would happen if someone like that got enough votes to be a contender, but the votes for them would certainly still count.
Now, would it matter at all if I wrote in something plainly ludicrous like myself, or Putin, or Shadow the Hedgehog? Certainly not. But, technically, my vote would be heard.
As for the third party candidates, I actually like both of the major ones decently. I like Stein's policies better, but Johnson has a better chance of actually influencing the election (although that's still not much, to be honest).
I think my avatar (and previous posts) speak for themselves.
Barring some crazy thing happening between now and November, I'll be voting for Johnson. I've just stopped caring about SCOTUS and all that. I'm not going to let two crap candidates try and extort me with it.
Trump
shhh don't resist
I probably won't vote because I'm lazy (and also cause I'd rather get the money from working) but if I had a gun to my head I'd probably vote for Trump.
As always, I'd rather have an asshole in the oval office instead of a criminal.
I think I'm more concerned with stopping yet another SOPA attempt from passing though, and that reason alone is why my vote is not going to Clinton
Chances are it will either be Trump, Stein or Johnson, mostly Johnson.
Hillary, begrudgingly. If it wasn't for Tinyhands, I'd probably feel the Johnson.
I'm going for Johnson since his policies are what I can get behind. Hopefully he'll be able to get to 15% appeal to get a shot in the debates with Trump and Clinton.
I'm probably gonna go for Jill Stein. Even though I prefer Trump over Hillary, I feel like I'd regret voting for him just as much as voting for Hillary.
I refuse.
Don't be a chump vote for Trump!
i dont really know what to think anymore! cant decide just yet! crazy politics!
Imo we don't have the luxury of electing the first woman president or worrying too much about the supreme court justice picks at a time when terrorist attacks are practically happening on a daily basis in western countries, so I'll be voting for Trump. He's the only one that's convinced me that he actually cares about it.
Jill Stein, or write-in Bernie Sanders, maybe.
Gary Johnson, cause I don't give a shit about choosing between a turd and a douche.
Honestly, anyone who doesn't vote for Johnson is the scum of the fucking earth at this point.

"Anyone who has a different opinion than me is a horrible person."
can I opt for suicide
There is the possibility that Sanders will take Stein up on her offer of running as a Green Party candidate. If that isn't the case, I'll probably coinflip between Green or Libertarian, but I mainly lean Libertarian.
What would really be amazing is if the Libertarians and Greens teamed up. Like when the good guys and bad guys (not saying either is the bad guys) team up because the REALLY bad guys are a more pressing issue than the usual minor squabbles. The two aren't necessarily THAT diametrically opposed, after all.
