Gosh darn it. Can Google go back to doing things like speaking out against the great firewall of China instead of stuff like this and how it's been handling YouTube recently?
It almost feels like they're angry that nobody cared about Google+ and they're lashing out.

All you really do is complain and worry about the TPP. I mean, yeah it's a flawed idea but unless it actually, directly hurt you when it is passed, you have no reason to complain. Plus isn,t this like, the 5th time you complained about the TPP calk?

The TPP, If passed, will affect /everyone/ in the countries that are signed to it. People could go to jail for downloading a copyrighted picture or posting fanart, and that's just copyright related stuff. There's so much more. So yeah, I kind of have a reason to be fucking worried.

The TPP takes away power from rightfully elected governments and hands it over to multinational corporations. The deal will directly hurt anyone who is interested in living under a democracy instead of an oligarchy.

Fucking Google?! Damn it! Y'know, if the TPP ends up passing, I hope it generates a shit-ton of protests and outcry (even more than it already has). Considering that the members of the TPP include more than just the U.S. (especially developed countries like Japan, Australia, and New Zealand), this had better be likely, otherwise things would be really fucking bleak.

Times like this make me hope that Trump isn't bullshitting about opposing the TPP.

According to my friend who works at Google, this is really a decision only the higher-ups support. A lot of people lower on the ladder are fairly against it, and a lot of mocking it has been making the rounds of their internal meme site (yes, Google has that). That being said, this was announced a week ago and I wish I'd have heard earlier.

Fandoms are the reason a franchise can survive. They provide free exposure.
We won't simply enjoy something as is. That's why we have modding in video games and fan fictions and art for cartoon series and books.

We're not heartless robots who would only consume. We excrete too, good shit to be correct. That's what makes us human.
