I mean look, we literally have shit poor countries in Africa, that are RIPE for the taking. We got the afghans looking like idiots growing their weed. We got middle Eastern countries too incompetent to do anything to protect themselves. Yeah, I'm just surprised that no one took the initiative to go and take over the lands. Like I know the UN is something, but still, a well crafted excuse can still sway them. THEY DIDT DO SHIT WITH SERBIA.

I doubt it happening at the present. In today's era where just flying a jet plane to another country can cause an international outcry. Although there is a possibility for a resurgence once the age of space exploration kicks in.

Absolutely not. The imperialism and colonialism of today are done through the private sector. Chinese economic entities, for example, are buying up tons of land in Africa and investing in infrastructure around the world. The USA is the only force left in the world using the physical presence of its military to assert hegemony and it's quickly learning that the cost exceeds the benefit there. World War II basically sealed the age of imperialism for good. Colonialism is now an obsolete practice. Corporations have managed to gain the benefits of empire (resource extraction from subjugated territories) without the costs (military presence and maintenance of Imperial administration and infrastructure), so unless some global cataclysm radically changed world populations and notions of governance, it's not going to happen.

Humanity is too big, and as a result, the world is just too small. To have imperialism truly come back there would need to be… undoing.

Walking into another country and claiming it as territory really isn't as easy as you'd think.

With the major Ebola outbreak, attcking Africa would be inhumain and quite frankly, really dumb.
Even for the African countries that aren't plagued with disease, conquering smaller countries for their territory would probably turn out really badly. Not everyone likes war, ya know.
Lastly, keep in mind that European countries pretty much owned all of Africa, but that quickly changed after World War Two. Independence is important to people, and keeping territory that doesn't want to be your territory provides a pretty big problem, especially if someone decides to start an uprising or something of the sort.

Middle Eastern countries are a major oil source for like, everyone. If you're gonna attack the Middle East, they won't be the only enemies you make with that decision.

We got the afghans looking like idiots growing their weed.

America is already waging war for Afghanistan. Jumping in to take Afghan territory would mean going to war with America, which is, in itself just a really horrible idea.

Basically another bottom of the barrel /pol/-esque opinion from psychopathic Darwinist assholes who I prefer to ignore. Go back to trolling YouTube comments please. Whenever I see posts by people like you I pray dearly no one like you ever gets any power over other human beings. But sadly, there are a lot of you in power.

This may sound really hypocritical especially considering what I just said, but sometimes I just wish assholes like you were naturally selected off the planet for the benefit of humankind.
