None because she knows jackshit about vidya game and gaming culture.

How can you make that claim if you've watched zero of her videos?

Anyways, I've watched maybe three or four. I don't really care that much, because I don't care for her literary approach and have my own idea of how women in video games and misogyny could be evaluated more rigorously, but I don't hate her or anything and I don't support GG so I don't get to play the role of the hypocrite.

Overall I think she makes good points at their core about representation and strong female characters and how games shouldn't always be super sexualized, but she takes things too far, too seriously, and cherry picks too much for me to agree with her on any specifics. It usually just gets me mad and overall I've had it up to here with anything vaguely related to GG so I've tried avoiding her like the plague for a while now.

The main issue I have with her is that she only chooses bad examples of female characters usually and ignores the good ones. Like I'm sure she has found a few examples she can't argue with at all so she just doesn't bring it up instead of using it as a good example. All she does is point out the "bad". Like if you've seen the list of games she approves of at all, it's like 5 games long since her standards are so strict and arbitrary. And she throws away good female characters if they show any skin or have boobs that are too big which is something I'd call sexist. Sure I understand sometimes sexualization in games is offen unnecessary pandering that should be reduced unless for a reason, but she takes it to another level completely dismissing entire games because this one girl was in a bikini once. There's a few more things I don't like about her arguments but I'd just be repeating what everyone else has said 1000 times. It's just frustrating to me that she completely dismisses characters like Samus for showing some skin for 5 seconds at the end of the game without any further discussion.

You might be interested to know she's just started a series about positive female characters. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, just saying.
