I'm campaigning for the Wendy Davis for Governor of Texas campaign and things are not looking too good for Tuesday. It's sad that Greg Abbott is going to win the election in a landslide, but hey I tried my best at trying to help Davis become our next governor.

I dont trust the gallup polls anymore. The polls of the last 2 big elections were shams and I expect big turnouts in diversity just like in 2012.

Yeah, but here in Texas, sheep will just listen to anything that Abbott says in his ads that is pro-Christian or anti-Obama.
"Republicans are favored to control the Senate.
95% chance as of today."
It was roughly 80% about a week or so ago. The Democrats are slipping, fast.
I'm going to write off the national election because both Democrats and Republicans suck and the status quo will never change until a third party rises up and jump starts the Seventh Party System. I'm going to focus in on the county elections.
Here's a fun game to play: how many political ads in a row have you seen? My record is four, with one accusing candidate x of doing y and the one immediately following it defending candidate x from the previous ad's accusation. It's almost like they've entered the realm of pardoy now. I keep on waiting for a "Senator Soandwho eats newborn kittens" ad to pop up. A shame we haven't had another "Aqua Buddha" one.
> TFW the only sane state senator candidate in my district gets narrowly defeated by the bigoted incumbent and so its another shitsandwich election
Time to flee to Canada for asylum as a political refugee.
Here is my prediction map.
Here is how you can make a prediction map like this

Too late, the "all Muslims are evil terrorists" rhetoric has made it to Canada.

I just have to say that AR has traditionally been reliably a red state even though you'd think the population would rely primarily on dem values.
I'm also throwing in that i'm on my way to be brainwashed see ex-president Bill Clinton today. Such an hero. He is my moral compass. xD

Reminder that if you vote Democrat and Republican, you're participating in a popularity contest between two puppets who like the corporate cock.

That's why Republicans should support Rand Paul and Democrats should support Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders. They're among the few good ones.

Oh, Bernie Sanders is probably the best independent politician out there in Washington D.C. I just saw an interview of him on Moyers & Company.

He doesn't stand a chance against Hillary, though. Unless she suffers a Mitt Romney 47% moment before the 2016 elections roll around, you'd best prepare yourself for another 4-8 years of milquetoast centrism.
Well today is the day. Its about to get real.
I just finished processing some voters. It's a higher turnout than I expected and I'm only two hours in.

Bad news, it's raining here in Dallas. Last time I check, Democrats don't vote in rainy weather, so I'm expecting Abbott to win big.
Hey it's raining in Grand Rapids (Michigan's second biggest city) too! Preparing for Republican utopia.
I am currently 17 years and 362 days old. Fuck.
On my way to fuck your bitch vote! Here we go again!

Uh oh, your first election is going to be the 2016 Presidential Election. How do you feel about that?

I'll vote for the democrat even though he/she won't express my views because the republican will express them even less and a third party candidate will never win. Repeat every 4 years until death.

Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has been re-elected. If the Republicans take control of the Senate, McConnell will be the Senate Majority Leader.

Paul, Warren, and Sanders have fresh ideas and are willing to criticize their respective parties and alliances. That's what America needs right now, not more of the usual entrenched mainstreet mudslinging.

aaaaaaand I lost 10 dollars…..
WTF FLORIDA, NOT AGAIN
So Kay Hagan is winning. I just got off the floor to post this as well.
Google has a pretty decent overview of the election, updated live:

Republicans currently hold strong leads, especially in the House.
My state looks like its going to have a Democrat for a governor again, it was fun while it lasted.
Mark Schauer 72.06% Democrat
Rick Snyder (incumbant) 26.67% Republican
And the senate is looking like it's going to stay democrat
Gary Peters 53.66% Democrat
Terri Lynn Land 42.76% Republican

What?
Where are you getting your data from?
This is up to date, by the way. It says 2pm because I'm in New Zealand.
I hate Democrats and I hate their liberal PC bullshit. I also hate Republicans and how their strategy is so deliberately fucking counter-intuitive. There's also the fact that an independent candidate has basically no hope of ever winning anything.
I fucking hate this country's government system.

well it said .7% reporting when I checked. I jumped the gun on calling an election
So Arkansas Just went Republican.

The government is great, it's the politics that get in the way.

Texas Governor Race:
Greg Abbott – 57.30%
Wendy Davis – 41.26%
Senate:
John Cornyn – 59.71%
David Alameel – 36.94%
FUCK
Greg Orman is beating Paul Roberts
So ABC Projects Abbot as the winner.

It literally wasn't a surprise to me, but I still want to rage. Cotton was caught in a few lies during his campaign, but still somehow unseats 2 term senator Mark Pryor who had Bill Clinton show up at a number of his election speeches. I really just want to move to Canada. >:(
Anyways, I don't really get how this stuff gets called so early when apparently only 19% of precincts have reported so far. Election stuff is confusing.

The Republicans have taken control of the Senate majority. Why didn't we stop this?
GG Republicans, GG
Welp, its 2010 all over again.
Time for absolutely nothing to get done because of Legislative-Executive enmity
chowzburgerz wrote:

Due to the main fact that Two big bases(Young Voters and Minorities) Dont really participate in these elecions, Democrats already placed themselves at the bottom. With Republicans having both the house AND Senate this is highly obligatory:
Obama better start using some executive orders if he wants his way.
