I was about to have a heart attack thinking you were linking to a kym comment section. but yeah that's an awful comment section, might as well report some of the comments to youtube for racism.

I miss the days of YouTube comments being able to have negative votes and being able to be buried by those same votes.

Ah yes, "scientific racists". Twice as intelligent as your garden variety kind of racist (though that's not exactly a high bar to jump), ten times as evil. Poke one of them and they'll send you a flurry of Nazi-esque "science" your way, in a godawful attempt to convince you just how much better they are for being born white (and it's almost always a white guy).

I've wasted far too much of my life arguing with these cretins, alongside their extra-condescending allies, the "scientific sexists". It always comes down to them piecing together shoestring "evidence" and drawing the conclusion that they're better than you. These are the same morons that go around telling others how "alpha" they are in order to feed into their bloated superiority complex.

I'm glad that these racists and sexists are a dying breed. If they had their way, I wouldn't be able to study my beloved physics because oMg your a wymeN!!!11! Fuck them.

i guess when you're anonymous people feel as though they can do and say whatever they want, the result of this is the youtube comment section, a place where people can just be as nasty and mean as they possibly can, and don't even think about reporting the comments because the chance that youtube does something about it is 0.001%

I totally understand that feeling of wanting to shut them up. Being repeatedly told that you're worthless because of some immutable trait that you were born with is bound to leave you in a horrible mood.

But even if Youtube could do something, I am still against that kind of censorship. It's better to have bigots out in the open where people can see just how ugly the underbelly of humanity is. Besides, if their comments started disappearing, God knows that they'll just crawl back to Stormfront and complain about how the POLITICALLY CORRECT Youtube moderators are discriminating against them. The last thing we should be doing is feeding their persecution complex (which tends to be just as large as their superiority complex).

People always talked about YouTube being shit before, but I never really noticed it too much before Google Plus. Now as Nintendylan said, all the terrible awfulness is put up for display and they usually get upvotes too. They changed the comments for spam control only to create more and almost encourage it. It's disgusting. Nearly every YouTube video with over a million views is chocked to the brim full of racism and bigotry. The worst channel I've seen to date is RomanAtwood. Every single one of his videos, no exceptions, is a cesspool of racial elitism. It's sickening.

get comment blocker, no sane people bothers with youtube retards anymore, i only read comments on small obscure videos, which are the only sane ones apparently.

The YouTube comment section is where logic and sanity go to die and sheer WTF-ery thrives.

2) It had a /pol/ thread and they commented. Judging from the mentions of ebola, it was probably embedded in one of the ebola happening (SPAIN"S DOOMED. EBOLA-CHAN RECONQUISTA!) threads.

I don't agree at all that this is to be expected from Youtube commenters. I've seen what appears to be an actually semi-decent group of people on countless occasions. Sure there are still plenty of morons to be found- this is the human race internet we're talking about- but their reply threads almost always turn into games of smash-the-piñata. In this case, I think we're just looking at the exact video those evil fucks spend hours of their worthless days searching for.

Typical Youtube trolling. Looks like it started off with mostly people going "WTF" because they probably had never seen a tribesman before. This summons racists out of the woodwork because they just need to equate skin colors to tribal states. Then finally that summons trolls

Most of that isn't even serious. Looks like the comment chain is mostly trolls, racists and racist trolls. Nothing out of the ordinary. Although it seems to have also triggered a serious argument between two (possible) Egyptians who are having a smartassery contest over who's better at their own culture and that makes it look a bit more like /pol/.

But yea, just another day on YT. Remember that this is the same place where Obama can post a video of puppies and that generates a raging political shitstorm in the comments (not joking). I'm sure even /pol/ doesn't degenerate that far.

Yes it does. There's passive social Darwinism, which is basically just capitalism, and then there's active social Darwinism, which is fascism and its offshoots (including scientific racism).

This is the kind of "science" (damn, I despise using that word to describe this) that was used by the Nazis to drum up support for the Holocaust. Because God knows that people love hearing about how good they are. White, blond, blue eyes, born in country X? Congratulations, you're awesome and should be proud of yourself, despite having done jack-shit to deserve that pride!
