Dead Or Alive bride DLC, more and more bride versions of Fate characters, more fanart of female characters wearing wedding dresses. It's a signal that our fantasies are becoming more evolved, that our desire for affection and love is only getting bigger.
In other worlds, waifu is going from "female character I like a lot" to "female character that I like so much I wished I could spent the rest of my life in a monogamic relationship with her".
