KYM Literacy Fund

My friends, it has recently come to my attention that KYM is under a scourge far greater than terrorism or radical ideology. A plague far worse than any existing disease and ailment today: illiteracy.

Frankly something must be done to curb this problem as more and more people seem to lack the ability to read on this site. It is for this reason that I am announcing the creation of a new charity and fund called the KYM Literacy Fund, its main aim to raise awareness of KYM illiteracy and to start the creation of various literacy programs to help KYM users.

With this fund, today will be the start of a new day, nay, a new era for the site. And remember, for every "literally who" image posted, or for every comment of "who" from those who care, a waifu will either be Emergence'd or be flayed alive.

Could you explain what brought this on? Where specifically has it shown that users are not bothering to read articles?

People in general are real, real tired of KYM users trying to act like their small bubble and circle speaks for the entire community of KYM. In the same way KYM users go "ugh another thing i don't like meme waa" against every new and innovative format. People are starting to realize these are just cheap attempts at comment karma based on limited knowledge and attempts at dismissing actually popular or good things just because they are unfamiliar with it. If the content in question really does deserve dismissing sure, that's justified, but most of the time it doesn't, it's just the user's ignorance.

(I copy pasted most of this comment based on another comment i left onto the literally read the fucking article image because i couldn't be bothered with retyping everything)
