so it's almost the one year anniversary of the worst forum on kym (besides books & comics lol)

anyway this thread is for the rules of the nominations and for the discussions of nominations categories. NOT FOR NOMINATING THINGS DON'T DO IT.

the only rules i can think of is that you can only use posts made in riff-raff. no using posts made in any other forum.

my ideas:

• biggest circlejerk of a thread

• best copypasta

• worst thing about riff-raff

• most tired in-joke

so yeah, please help me come up w/ categories. try to be as inclusive as possib;e so it's not just an irc kiss-fest (aka no best ship award)

re; the numerical categores (most replied to, most upvoted etc) i'm not gonna look that stuff up personally but if someone else wants to dump their time into it be my guest.

the biggest circlejerk would easily be won by the IRC though

If there is going to be a Most Upvoted Post of the Year award it should be a Most Downvoted Post of the Year too.

• poster of the year – for better or worse this poster represents riff-raff the best

• Scapegoat Award – a user who was treated maybe a little worse than they ought to be

• best post of the year – funniest post that has been posted in riff-raff all year

• worst post of the year – absolutely the most misguided and unfunny post in this forum of the year

• best original thread of the year – the funniest thread that wasn't a parody of another user's thread

• Best parody thread – the best thread that parodied a previously existing thread on the forum

• worst thread of the year – parody or original, this thread sucked

• biggest circlejerk of a thread – a thread that only a select group of users enjoyed and everyone else thought was garbage

• strangest thread – ??? what was the maker of this thread trying to get at?

• best riff raff copypasta – what post did you enjoy seeing over and over again (not for copypastas that are from 4chan like gorilla warfare)

• most tired in-joke – a joke that no one thinks is funny anymore but people still bring it up

• Best oc image – best image made for riff-raff

• Best serious riff raff post of the year – someone breaking character and still somehow making a good post

• Saltiest Riff-Raff post – who got the angriest at the internet?

• worst thing about riff-raff – something you wish riff-raff would change even though you know it probably won't
