Due to recent concerns over the moderation and presence of moderators on the Riff-Raff and Just For Fun boards, we, the moderators, have come up with a new set of rules and guidelines regarding suspensions and thread locking that will, hopefully, satisfy the lot of you.
- You will now get suspended for just being wrong. This of course is arbitrary so just remember that you don't have much lenience. For a detailed list, please head over to sub-section A.[1]
- Of course we noticed that the idea of "Riff-Raff suspensions" wasn't always well liked, so we removed those. Thus the Riff-Raff suspensions have been deleted. Now all suspensions will be regular suspensions following regular guidelines. Get suspended too much, and you'll be permabanned. That way Riff-Raff posters won't have to feel excluded from the rest of the userbase.
- You will be auto-permabanned for perpetually having the wrong opinion.

- We've given the lock system a complete redesign. It's not an unlock system. All threads that get made will be instantly locked, and will require mod approval to get unlocked before allowing being posted in. We hope this will remove the concerns over too many mods locking too many threads.
- Riff-Raff is a place for the people, so in order to not give the key to anarchy to just the mods, all users now have the ability to lock threads. For more details, please head over to sub-section B.[2]
- For the sake of keeping a proper medium of communication present between the moderators and the users, moderator threads do not follow these guidelines.
- All threads are now linked to a random-number generator, and thus will get constantly moved between boards (and then get locked anyways).
We hope this satisfies you all. And will be pleased if the concerns over the presence of the moderators on these boards are now gone. If not, please put your complaints in the complaint box (but we don't check that shit).
[1] Sub-Section A: Disagreeing with a mod.
[2] Sub-Section B: You don't have the power to unlock threads.
