Over obsession with memes. any help?

I fear I may have become overly obsessed with a meme. I have never actually know my meme or where its from, which might have contributed to problem, so when I found out near the end of the meme the op hints that there is a “don” between my meme and another meme I have no real interest in, something kinda memed in me. Up till this point I have had no problems looking at memes of them together, my lack of knowledge of the meme meant that I assumed it was just harmless internet memeing. From my knowledge of the meme it ends up memed on at the end.
I memed when I found out and ended up going through the like 1000 memes I have of it (I’ve been memeing them for at least 6 years so thats like less than half a picture a day) and sorting them between memes of it alone and memes of it with any meme. Even OCs that had nothing to do with the meme. Took me like an 1 hour and at the end I kinda felt memed on. I can still look at it alone in memes, but the second I see it with a meme it feels like my heart skips a beat and I get memed on. I tend to be pretty calm about these things. I’ve memed plenty of memes from other sites that don’t go together and didn’t care one bit when a meme doesn’t end up with the meme I memed them with (I try to keep them self contained but thats beside the point). So I was genuinely freaked out when I took a break, stepped back, and really looked at how I was feeling and memeing. I’m not sure If I am just obsessed with a meme and am experiencing just jealousy, or something else. The fact that I’ve considered it my meme for 6 years probably doesn’t help the situation.

I understand how you feel. I print off pictures of doge and cut the cancer out of them and put the pictures in a new entry while putting the cancer to a to make a completely forced meme. I have over 650 memes now and I was hoping to get more ebin memes but something got in my way.the moderators found out about it while we were making sweet sweet sticky love (I totally have a sex life with real people and not just live in my basement while spending my entire time in meme sites eating doritos). they laughed at the sight of the new entry and I thought they would lock it, but it revealed the mod was actually Don, I had been obsessing over memes and now the meme king was in front of me all along. it just goes to show that looking for love to ebing memes is wrong when true memeing is right in front of you all along

inb4 cancer
The meme in question is 4chan. I didn’t post the meme entry because when I was a kid they was no way for me to post the memes. So my only experience with meme was through the memes. I never really had the time nor the desire to post 4chan : The Meme Machine. I was tempted to at some points and kinda glad I didn’t.
I was only asking for help because it came right out of no where once I found out. I’ve had other memes I liked and stuff but didn’t care at all when they ended up with memed on. Just this one meme that did it so I was kinda freaked out by my reaction.

>4chan
man….i dont know how to tell you this.
but your meme is like, really obsessed over in the internet fandom, I'm surprised only the memed on thing bothers you.
