Not sure if this is the right place for this, but the new search results system is really fucky. It's trying to display pages in 20 images at a time but sometimes if you actually scroll down enough to click the page numbers you get the old "a winner is you" message and the buttons disappear.

I'm disappointed in the direction that Internet horror has taken over the last few years. The Analog horror trend started strong with stuff like Local 58 and Gemini Home Entertainment, but it became really cliched and lazy after that. People slapping a VHS noise filter to video, with some distorted face jumpscares and crappy text-to-voice? That is not horror.

Most of the horror/mystery YouTubers I used to like have also gone inactive, lean too heavily in the true crime direction or just upload TikTok brainrot content. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right direction, maybe I just desensitized myself to horror a bit too much, but it all feels pretty stale and boring nowadays.

Just make analog horror that is an action movie. Have protagonist be Fred Durst look alike filming himself and his friends fighting forces of evil and documenting monsters. Have it be a homage to action cartoons from 1990s and 2000s that weren't superhero stuff like Action Man.

As for myself, I gotta prepare for tests IMMEDIATELY. I had enough of doing nothing. I should just avoid this site till I am done with tests.

A foamer pet peeve of mine is how many folks confuse conductors with engineers. Conductors watch over the train, do paperwork, and various other tasks--but they do not drive the locomotive; engineers do the driving. Of course, the British terms "guard" and "driver" aren't as ambiguous, as calling the one who drives the driver makes a lot of sense.

Damn it, every fucking time I try and watch true crime shit, racist assholes in the comments have to make this a race or political thing, even when the crime in question wasn't racially motivated in the slightest. Those upvote counts are also sus as fuck, there has to be a botting problem on YouTube or something. Not to mention the whole "complaining about Democrats" thing is also false information. Red leaning states have had higher murder rates within the past couple of years by nearly 25% compared to blue states.

An Utau (a very similar Vocaloid-like software) producer that I follow on youtube was outed as a groomer the other day. Tanjiro Taidana, he specializes using Teto's voicebank, primarily producing remixed covers of other popular vocaloid songs. I don't expect anyone here to know him, but he's moderately popular among the Vocaloid/Utau scene and has collaborated with quite a few other producers. He's gone completely awol, nuking his entire online presence and taken down all his videos, socials media, and patreon.

It's disappointing to say the least, I enjoyed his covers and his tuning of Teto was impeccable.

Also, comments about black criminals are usually jokes, but focus too much on American ones and men in general which gets boring.
I swear, those anti-LGBT stuff are too GBT oriented like it's some misandrist remarks. When I saw those transphobic threads on 4chan, all I got was White transwomen doing problems and barely transmen doing it. I understand transwomen do problematic things more, but if you are going to complain about transsexuals, include trans men as well.

I don't know about upvotes, but with how numerous the "butt bot" comments are, they definitely have an issue with bots. Maybe not as much as Twitter, but they do.

The thing is people do not think those morons aren't writing this for jokes.
Also, like bots are something I truly fear YouTube has. I hope Elon Musk doesn't buy YouTube because he will mess it up.

At the time I was legitimately enraged that YT did nothing about this but constantly kicks and screams over significantly stupider garbage, and even more so by all the brainwashed drones who defend their absurd priorities with bs like "it's a business". I don't think most businesses want to be associated with illegal crap.
