Being more humorous helps.
They're many routes you can take with humor.
There's wholesome humor.
There's Black Humor (as in being offensive).
There's intellectual humor.
There's surreal humor.
There's D A N K %{font-size:10pt},but I rather not go there… %
There's a huge palette you can choose from, but what really matters the most is execution, as well as when or where is best to play it out.
You can plan ahead with your jokes and shit, but I find improvising on the fly helps.
But it's also best to play it naturally, else shit just gets awkward.

Christ I'm terrible at explaining shit.

You know what, fuck it, just improv everything.

Personally I'd chide you, people put way too much stock in worthless internet points. Everyone wants to become a clout chaser. Be confident in who you are as a person and seek external validation in the workplace or community.

If you still want to walk this path maybe become a very prolific content creator on Youtube or Twitter then come back to KYM. Infamy is also the path to recognition, get a massive negative reputation from posts or comments. If that fails then just copy someone else's gimmick.

Twitter is about to ban porn. So.

Also youtube just downright sucks.

I don't even understand your question. I mean, I understand the words and their meaning, but I cannot comprehend why you would want to be infamous on this site.

I could understand if you meant being famous like Pewdiepie or Jake Paul. Yes, they're huge pieces of trash, but at least they know how to manipulate children for profit. They're good businessmen in addition to their fame.

On the other hand, the two people you mentioned are not famous; they are infamous. The difference in my mind is this: if someone famous shows up on your thread, you get excited. Someone you admire for one reason or another has decided to talk to you. It brings a feeling of validation which, regardless of if you should get validation from people of the internet (that's another argument), you enjoy seeing them. An infamous person, on the other hand, isn't usually welcomed with open arms. Seeing Bill Stan rant on an anime post isn't a good time. Watching A Wolf shout at anything with boobs isn't fun.

Tl;Dr: You take photographs with famous people. You take mugshots with infamous people.

To get back to your original question, I think you should aim higher than being known here. Try to feel valuable about yourself first, without the input of people from the internet. People become famous because they have confidence, not the other way around.

Beggers can't be choosers, if you want to be famous those are two of your biggest options.

Your initial post doesn't mention where you want to get famous or what you want to get famous for doing.

i want to be the famous on the world wide web enough that i can at least get a steady amount of income. i basically want money so i won't starve to death or not afford college.

You have to have a specific niche that will appeal to people like no one has seen before. Imitating others' success would be good to start, but you'd want to enrich something fresh and original.

It's not enough to just spit out content either, you'd have to connect with people or join communities to get a good start. Reaching out to people or appealing to a group enough to join a circle would be good for getting your name out there in the very least.

Oftentimes fame might come from nowhere. A random hook might put the spotlight on you. However it's not healthy to spread yourself too thin and go for these things. Grinding and working hard is a consistent way for people to be familiar with you, your work and your passion. It's something to think about though.

However, in the end no one should aspire fame first and foremost. Fame and money is a byproduct of what you're good at, what you're talented at and can be a measure of your passion and soul for a medium.

Nothing can happen overnight. There are very rare circumstances anyone in this day and age will be famous out of nowhere even in a month from now. It might be a matter of doing things ever so slightly different, reaching out to people or just grinding your work. Do not allow yourself to be blinded by what could be, it is demotivating.

t. tiny artist. not famous.

Vice made a video on it, and tl;dw its not easy

You have 3 options; Become extremely lucky, extremely talented, or go the old fashioned route and network with people more famous than you and collab with them to boost yourself.

If it helps I regard you and your posts as that one teen girl on kym that desperately wants to fit in and craves attention. All of your posts on the forums reek of this so you got that going for you.

oh…burn….

Unless you're doing to monetize off of your name why would you ever want to, with how people act on the internet

Being internet famous means you're expected to live up to the random moral standards of groups made up of strangers.

Every single thing you say or do publicly even worse sometimes privately is recorded documented and can be used against you.

Any version of your past self you don't identify with will stick with you for the rest of your time being "Internet famous" worst yet if you want to move on with your life your entire self during that time is archived.

You can say "Oh well I don't do anything wrong I don't care" well social standards change over years. A joke, opinion, hobby that is a social norm now might be looked down at 10 years from now but because your history is archived you will forever have to answer to that

And its so disproportionate because the people on their moral high horse doing all this who are nobodies don't have to live up to the same standards because no one gives a fuck about them to look it up or it was never publicly documented. Absolutely everyone looks back on themselves from 1-5 years ago and there is something they don't like and grew out of, but if they had a following online they would have to answer for it one day.

Being an anon is extremely underrated. I never keep a user name or web identity for longer than 4 years and absolutely NEVER post my personal information. I can reinvent myself when ever I like and its fucking great

If you want a good example look at what happening to Cenk Uygur right now.

Super left wing guy,for YEARS made and runs one of the biggest liberal news shows on the internet

Stared an organization that helped get several liberals into the house like AOC

Extremely anti right

BUT hes being attacked as some type of right wing sexiest because like 15 fucking years ago he was a Republican and wrote a stupid sexist blog post trying to be funny at a time where over the top edgy humor like that was the big thing.

One fucking mistake 15 years ago got him all this hate and got him kicked out of an organization he founded and even those who he associates and defend him are getting shit.

Awful, go do something you genuinely love doing, maybe one day you'll get good at it and people will respond positively and circle around you. Validation from others is meaningless without your own self worth in tact. Seeking fame and validation as the apex of your life is like putting furniture on top of an empty foundation.

like i respect wanting privacy. i'm trying my best to leave my real life out of the door but at the same time how has that always worked? like i know many mangaka and some internet artist have done this in the past but in a day and age where folks could easily dox you what's the point?

i admit my reasons for being famous is the result of cravings for actual love rather than being treated like you don't exist. but at the same time, it seems like a balancing act for me. i don't want that much attention but also want attention. like crave a spot for myself in the internet ecosystem. but at the same time…okay please don't laugh.

but i wanna be a showrunner. like have my own show. preferably since i wanted to make a show that could convert weebs into loving western animation again. like for fuck sake alot of my ideas are literally just anime plots…
