A while ago there was an issue with content that was well within nsfw rules, mostly involving butts, being taken down by mods, and just recently there was an image of a canonically 21 year old character, who was clearly drawn as an adult being taken down for "Sexualization of an underage character"
tl;dr mods need to be more responsible with their powers

if I remember correctly, the rules of this place prefers not to accept bare human ass unless it’s decently covered, whether by clothing or by fur. i don’t know what your ass pics looked like, but i’d recommend browsing this thread here, because i think the final post gives some pretty good insight and clarification on what is and isn’t allowed regarding uploading big ass pics

No idea what to make of your underage character situation though, but again if i were you i’d take this up with the mods personally instead of drawing this much unnecessary attention upon such a minuscule problem on the forums, which is probably slower than PMing a mod seeing how dead this place is most hours.

The characters refered to were fully clothed
I’ve only ever gotten responses on the forum and all I got was a mod who didn’t know why it happend
I don’t know which mod it was
I’m just bringing it up because it seems that images keep being taken down arbitrarely

very strange then, you should link the pictures here so maybe someone can take a better guess as to why they’re not allowed.
maybe it’d be worth going onto their Discord for an even quicker response too, most of the mods here do prefer to hang out there after all

Here’s a thread on the image

I’ll attempt that, I’ll need to make a discord first though

JOIN THE DISCORD NED JC
well JC hours later i finally remembered to look at your image, and I gotta day I’m pretty it’s the fact that Pearl is showing off a decent portion of her nether region that got it removed. sure you can’t see a vagina, but I doubt the moderator who stumbled upon it doesn’t appreciate the rules being toyed with
If you hadn’t done so already, take it up with a mod, there happens to be a decently credible one right above me in fact
Please do remind me that Pearl is canonically older than Marina (18 years). Everybody should know that jesus christ
But yeah, that image should be kept, dont know why the moderator went a bit sensitive on the vagina bones
@Artichoke
"i’d take this up with the mods personally instead of drawing this much unnecessary attention upon such a minuscule problem on the forums"
Mods themselves advice users to take this type of issues to the forums or Discord, with the latter being more optional since the forums have existed for longer.
"I’m pretty it’s the fact that Pearl is showing off a decent portion of her nether region that got it removed"
Combo Breaker, the image's uploader, confirmed that the e-mail notification with the removal reason said "Sexual depiction of an underage character", and nothing else added.
Image in question for future reference (NSFW).

By this logic telegrams and carrier pigeons are inherently more optimal to text messaging.
Some users have pointed out that forum activities online in general have been drying up. While we're not about to close them, most discussions are significantly easier when there is little delay in what is being said, especially if it's something that you are just wanting one answer on. Forum posts are better for announcements, larger and longer more serious discussions where shitposting is not allowed (politics general), or things that we want an easily searchable long lasting record.
One image removal query doesn't metit making a new thread when we a have a thread already explicitly dedicated to this exact thing.
As for the image itself, I was not a part of that discussion. However, I do agree that maybe the officially listed reason might be so tersely phrased that it leaves open some questions. I also noticed that one set of rules in one place does not match up elsewhere on the relevant detail upon which this whole thing seems to revolve around.
The NSFW Guidelines, which are linked within and a more in depth version of the general site rules state among content that is NC: "Sexually suggestive images of characters or people who appear underaged."
While the specifics of this rule are not as old as some of the others, it has been in place for over a year. The fact that it is apparently missing from the official full rules list is a very poor oversight and I don't know why this has not been updated as all the mods and admins agreed to it (IIRC it was specifically requested by the Admins).
Please note, we get that sometimes the rules are not always clear. No one was banned over this image. No one was suspended over this image. No one was warned over this image. It was taken down with advice to the uploader without leaving a mark on their record. When an existing thread about this subject matter already exists, someone could have just PMd a mod about it, or gotten the input of multiple mods in less than five minutes on the discord, making a new thread is not the best course of action if your goal is to just find out why one image was removed.

Updated.

The Discord claims never happened so I'll just reply to this here:
Bluntly said: Banning or being much stricter on loli is something most sites gotta have to live with.
First thing first: Whether this is stupid or "getting upset over a drawing" I'm going to leave inbetween here. That's a different debate for a different time.
In the end a site is expected to judge loli images when they appear. Thing is, we're not expected to judge these images by factors such as "that character acts above her age", "she's actually over a 1,000 years old", "canon claims this" or "fine by law in the country of origin".
We're expected to filter these images based on looks. You need to judge the images based on how they would appear to someone without too much time on their hands to browse for loli anime and the associated knowledge about the background and canon that comes with it. Bluntly put: You need to judge the images based on how they would appear to the average contributor to society, and this unfortunately includes the guy who decides whether you live or die on Google searches and what ads you get.
This is why characters like Yoko from Gurren Lagann get away with it: The guy judging if your site is worthy of their ads is oblivious of any background info and this big booby anime girl appears no different to him than any legal one. You can shoot background or canon logic at this all you want, but these guys can Matrix bullet dodge your weeaboo power level. Your strongest Noble Phantasm, "it's just a drawing", has been rendered powerless. A lewd loli, no matter how much sense it can make in the source material, to them is just another lewdly drawn kid.
Big boys like Twitter, Reddit and Tumblr are already powerless against this fact. So what is a small site like KYM even expected to do here? KYM is not here to be the fucking visionaires on anime kiddy lewds. KYM has two functions: Document internet phenomena and rack up enough boolah to get the staff their bread on the table. Memes with sensitive content because they have their origins in loli hentai have been a constant pain to the staff because you don't want those to appear in Google searches. If KYM wants to keep surviving, you gotta make tough decisions sometimes.
Does that sound stupid or unfair? It could be, but like I said in the beginning that's another debate for another time.
It can be unfortunate, but this means things like Pearl from Splatoon lewds can end up getting removed. We got features to have mods take a second look: PM one of us, use the related thread or hop into our Discord real quick. We try to be reasonable, but even as mods unfortunately we sometimes are powerless.
I hope this sounds reasonable and that our actions can be understood.

Thabk you for the response, never had the chance to get a discord started
I’ll be honest here, now I’m just even more annoyed at corps being able to censor things by being able to choose who lives and who dies via adds

No worries about the Discord. Do it when you feel is the right time. I just wanted to get the reply out.
It's unfortunately the way these things work. We all saw the strings Tumblr had to pull when their app was suddenly kicked from the app store. At the end of the day all these sites are businesses and it's the purpose of a business to make a profit to stay alive. Things like app store downloads, how frequent you appear in search engines, and ad content quality all affect the greens these sites rake in. Unfortunately the guys who judge your rank in this are not always the most competent for it. Allow the wrong shit and you get marked; get marked and you suddenly appear on page 5 of Google with ads for Polish singles.
I wish I could make it sound better than it is, but we're all victims and this is how it is. You have the right to annoyed, we're too sometimes, I can only ask to understand the position we're in a bit more.
Honestly I thought this was a meme website, but I got my hopes up seeing the image gallery. I personally believe that there should only be memes on this site not hentai.
